2. OPENING SCENE / SCENE 1
In the opening scene of the micro short film- ‘post-
it love’, shows a mid shot of a ladies face and from
what she is wearing she appears to have a white
collar job i.e. in an office.
The scene then is panned across from a birds eye
view angle showing the lady photocopying paper
then pans across to the gentlemen's side on the
photocopy next to her which is divided by a wall.
The scene then cuts to a long shot showing both
the lady and the gentleman doing the same action
(refilling the paper tray of the photocopier).
The way that the scene has been edited and
filmed shows that there is a potential relationship
between the two characters in the first scene.
3. SCENE 2
When standing in front of the machines the
shyness is once again represented because
they both peer over the wall-section to
glance at the other person simultaneously
and quickly look down when they spot the
other person staring at them.
It then cuts to a close up shot of the girls
face and the audience can see a small
smile appearing as if to portray her
happiness that the guy is looking at her.
4. SCENE 3
From the scene of both characters glancing at
each other it portrays that both characters are
interested in each other. However are shy to
speak to each other.
The shyness is conveyed again when she leaves a
piece of blue paper with a smiley face made out
of oranges post-it notes. This portrays shyness as
the girl had no confidence to speak to the male,
and vice versa.
After receiving the post-it the male rolls back on
his chair and peers down the office to see the
girl also looking at him. As he turns around she
quickly returns to her office, hiding from the
male. This shows that she is shy towards him and
the lack of communication they have between
each other.
The males has now realized that the female has
shown affection for him and wants to do the
same back.
5. SCENE 4
Scene 4 shows the female lifting up her
blinds and find a yellow sun made out of
post it notes stuck on her window. After
she sees the sun made out of post-its on
her window she looks around to see if
anyone is watching. This shows that the
relationship that the female and the male
has is a secret. The shot used for this
scene is a wide shot/ long shot, this shot
enables the viewer to see the back
ground of the office setting portraying
the office relationship.
6. SCENE 5
Scene 5 is set in the toilets where the
male and the female works. A wide shot
is used with the male standing in the
centre of the frame fixing his tie; an
anonymous character walks into the
cubicle behind and shuts the door only to
reveal a next step in the love interest
between these two characters. However,
this time round the female had created a
thought bubble with a heart within it on
the door of the cubicle, placed perfectly
to where the male is standing.
The heart represents her loving interest
and cleverly tries to give a sign to the
male that he may be thinking the same.
7. SCENE 6
Cleverly the male knows that the female
uses the stock room frequently, so
expertly in line with the light switch he
masters a beautiful flower on the wall
with an over the shoulder used to portray
her holding the flower.
From the close up shot of half of her face
the audience can see her reaction as her
facial impression shows that the artwork
he did made her really happy.
8. SCENE 7
At this point the female is very pleased
and grabs many piles of post-it notes to
once again return a different image.
When she closes the door of the stock
room she looks around wearily hoping
that the male doesn’t see her as she
wants to complete another image for
him.
9. SCENE 8
As she walks around the corner she is
still wary about what is happening
around her and whether the guy is
going to spot her or not.
Walking down the corridor, she stops
and the camera zooms in to clos up and
suddenly a huge expression of shock is
show. The close up shot of her face
shows her facial expression and how
she feels, when she saw the surprise
that the male character had done for
her .
10. SCENE 9
The male has beaten her to the final
post with a huge collage of their faces
on the back wall of the office, and this
concludes both the loving interest and
shyness representation because after
all the signs they both show that they
like each other but both have troubles
speaking to each other.
Finally, they establish that they have
clear interest for each other.
