• He was often an
underhanded leader.

• Fought his way to
power.
• Dissolved opposition.
• Used public image
manipulation to great
effect.
• Had a distinct image
– moustache.
• Had a symbol like the
boar – the swastika.

5. Bismarck
• Manipulated people to
gain power.
• Manipulated war to
his benefit.
• He was a very sneaky
clever person.

6. Stalin
• Killed lots of people to
meet his own ends.
• Tyrannical
• Dissolved opposition.

7. Mary Tudor
• She was ‘Bloody Mary’ =
parallels ‘Bloody
Richard’.
• She killed people who
were ungodly to secure
her position of power.
• Discredited her sister =
like Richard killed
Clarence.
• Is remembered for the
bloodshed.
• Relevant to the time of
Shakespeare.

• He was manipulative and used
other for his own gain.
• Abandoned Quirrell = Richard
abandoned Buckingham.
• Faced strong opposition.
• Harry = Richmond
• Wanted to be a leader to be in
a position of power rather than
for the good of the country.
• Richard III killed Richmond’s
parents = Voldemort killed
Harry’s parents.
• His body was mangled by a
spell backfiring.
• Wormtail is his Tyrrell.

tyrants are all the
same.

• Almost identical
deaths.

• Got rid of his political equal
(aka brother) Al Gore.

• Got rid of people opposed to

• Had people smarter than him
backing him up.
• Polarised the country eg.
England was York/Lancaster,
USA is Republican/Democrat.

• Has memorable quotes eg.

priority.”

physical deformity.
• Got rid of the heir.
• Overthrew Mufasa.

empire.
