Using the Mental Measurements Yearbook, identify three measures of the constructs you are studying for your research question
1. What is your research question?
The Research Question is how Psychology theories affect individual people in particular and analysis of how the impact affects how each person responds differently to issues and matters that enable people the use mind in solving and attending to issues that others do. Cut empty words and write clear and succinct, researchable question. You want to know how Psychological theories affect people? Rewrite.
The research question is based on less information provided when researchers do analysis of psychology theories they do nat narrow to individual level and see how each is affected.
2. Write a testablehypothesis for your research question.
The psychological theory of mind helps who perceive why people do what they do and why some believe in aspects that others don’t, how emotions may be shown by people in different at varied levels. What exactly is your DV? You believe a Theory of Mind does what? How does a Theory of Mind affect what?
The intensions to do actions are very different and enthusiasm from every individual is different, this can help explain how people operate. The hypothesis is based on expectations one is expected to perceive from the theories available and the real formulation of the person in real life.
[Cut or reduce empty words to make your writing more concise.]
3. What constructs is your research question investigating?
The constructs of psychology that the study will be investing in is emotions, behavior, and self-esteem that determine how students perceive themselves in attribute are you referring to a comparison? “in attribute” is awkward to the surrounding environment. The construct can be tested and evaluated usng deifferent measures. Mechanical errors affect the readability of your work.
4. Using the Mental Measurements Yearbook, provide the following information for three measures of the constructs:
a. What is the test? Include the name and authors.

aspects of student life.
You have two of the three required measures identified. You
need a third one and the MMPI information is missing; you
included the information for the MBSR.
b. How is the test used? Include the target population, how the
test is administered, and what information it provides.
Which one? The MBSR? The test is said to take 338 questions
and takes around 35 to 50 minutes depending with the person
being tested. The test is administered indiindually or as a group
and requires to be used withother assessment tools using
computer or by hand and the information is evaluated by a
medical practitioner.
Weschler IQ Scales is administered by a test of 10
complementary tests and other 5 subsets that enable one to be
tested the IQ capabilities and the results are divided into six
different indexes
c. What is known about the test’s psychometric properties, such
as reliability and validity?
The test Weschler IQ Scales is known for giving accurate and

Research Question. I will not be determining the groups at
random for the experiment; However, It will be the best attempt
at an experiment, it does not meet all the criteria of a true

Yes! Because the families and students will already be
predetermined, they are pre-assigned automatically.

attend Public/Private educational institutions and Children that

Steps for Creating Methodology
Part 1. Using Figure 1.2 in Ch. 1 of Exploring Research, create
a flowchart using Microsoft® Word or a similar program that
helps you identify what research design to use for your research
question.
You are graded on identifying the specific elements of your
research at each "yes" on the flowchart and demonstrating one
clear and appropriate method
***Attached you will find a sample flowchart and chapter 1***
Part 2
Answer three discussion questions using 175 words for each
question.
Discussion 1: Identify a research question and explain how you
would study it with a true experiment, a quasi-experiment, and a
qualitative study. Which method would be most appropriate to
the question? Why?
Discussion 2: Can you ever "prove" a hypothesis to be correct?
Hypotheses are rejected or we fail to reject them. We have a
certain level of confidence in our inferences, based on the
power of our statistical analysis and the p-value (the probability
that we are or are not making a Type I or Type II error). We can
never be 100% confident. There is always a probability in social
science research that we have made an error. Each formula for
each statistical analysis includes a measure for standard error.
We must address that as a potential for error in our inferences
and state it as such.
Discussion 3: You wrote, "A True experiment that I can use to
13. study my research question would be to assign participants to
groups (teens who use social media for more than 4 hours a day
and those who use social media for less than 4 hours a day ) and
assess the impact of increased social media use of self-esteem."
Do you believe that increased use of social media will have a
negative effect on self-esteem? How would you ethically set
that up, knowing that "assigning" individuals to "more" use
could negatively affect their self-esteem? As a researcher, how
would you alleviate any potential "damage" to your
participants? As a parent, I would have a hard time signing that
consent, to allow you to damage my adolescent's self-esteem.
