Case Study Of Ladurée
Our group Project is based on introducing the French luxury bakery and sweets maker brand,
Ladurée, in Hungary: the brand is mostly known for its double decker macarons and its international
expansion began in 2005 (ChocoParis, 2015).
In this assignment we are going to analyze the Hungarian market to see if the introduction of this
brand will collect a positive feedback.
In order to start, we are going to talk about Ladurée and give a brief explanation of this luxury
brand:
Ladurée was created in 1862 when Louis Ernest Ladurée opened a normal bakery shop in Paris, in
16 rue Royale. But in 1871, due to a fire, the bakery was transformed into a luxury pastry shop.
Later, Pierre Desfontaines, the grand–son of Louis Ernest Ladurée, came up with ... Show more

1. Economic situation
The Hungarian economy is based on the service sector which has represented approximately the
57% of GDP in the last three years. This sector is collecting the biggest foreign direct investments,
estimated around 76,8% .
Hungarian industry, which represents 22% of GDP, is highly developed and oriented towards
international trade. In concrete it is very commonly addressed to automotive, electronics,
metallurgy, chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
Since its entrance into the European Union, direct investment by multinationals has been
continuous, which has helped to modernize and optimize the productive system of the country.
However, the economic market presents some inefficiencies: during the last years the main objective
has been to control inflation, because it has suffered a relevant increase from 2011 and 2014. On the
other hand, the geographical location of Hungary in Central Europe takes a high advantage due to its
extensive network of highways and roads installations. Four European transportation facilities cross
Hungary and place the country in a strategic position connecting the various neighboring countries
and providing access to major European ports and markets of Eastern Europe. Unfortunately the
infrastructure innovation network decreased during the years of

Descriptive Essay About My Family
On October 20, 2000 I was brought into the world 1:38 in the morning at Hurley Hospital. I was
around 8lbs. My mother likes to tell my siblings and I that she had all of our names planned ever
since she was a little girl. She ended up naming me Alexa Rae Odom. She says the she named me
after the singer Billy Joel's daughter, Alexa Ray Joel. My mother also like to tell me that I
interrupted the poker game she was winning just before she went into labor. She says that we could
used that money to pay the hospital bill.
In my family, there are six members. My father, Anthony; my mother, Sheila; My oldest brother,

When I gave her my final report card, you could see the realization that she would have to go

It took us weeks to come up with his name. Every name someone suggested was met with turned up
noses and disdain. Finally, I told my mom that I wanted to name him Simba Mufasa. Shortly, it was
changed from Mufasa to Kovu because my mom could not pronounce it. My friend jokes that he is
more like Scar than Simba because he likes to hold his toys over couches and watch them fall.
Nearly two years later, came Remy Firelord Zuko Martin Odom. I know, what a mouthful, huh? My
mom came up with the Remy Martin part. I, obviously came up with the Firelord Zuko part. In my
defense, I had just finished binge watching Avatar: The Last Airbender a couple days before we got
him. He is a pomeranian–maltese mix but he looks more like a miniature golden doodle. He is so
filled with love that he follows my mom and I around the house every day.
I live in a black and white house. Growing up, my brothers ' shared one room, my sister and I shared
another, and my parents' room was in the middle. My parents like to change up the house every
couple of years to keep things new and fresh. Recently, Lucas and Lakin both moved out, leaving
Leif and I with our own rooms for the first time. I jumped at the chance to redo my room and I

The Secret ot Perfect Macarons
Macarons are a French delicacy that is incomparable to any other dessert item. They are very
appealing to the eye and appeal even more to the taste buds. The only problem is, macarons can be a
challenge to make at home. Everyone has had that moment when they crave one of these amazing
French cookies and want to make a batch or two but have no idea how. The key to making the
perfect macaron is perfect ratios. Cooking is all about science and the right recipe. Here is how to
make French macarons.
First, in order to make macarons get a gram scale. Using grams when measuring ingredients is the
best way to ensure the ideal result. After you have a gram scale you can begin measuring. You will
need:
236 grams granulated sugar
212 grams confectioners sugar
212 gram almond meal
82 and 90 grams egg whites, separated
158 grams water
Now that all your ingredients are measured prepare your baking sheets by lining with parchment
paper and preheating your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Once your baking sheets are prepped and
the oven is preheating add almond meal and confectioners sugar in a large bowl. Whisk to remove
any clumps. If you almond meal is a bit coarse pulse a few times in a food processor. When dry
ingredients are combined make a well in the center and add 82 grams of egg whites. Mix well until
thick and paste like.
Combine granulated sugar and water in a saucepan over medium high heat with a candy
thermometer to make the syrup. When temperature reached 200 degrees

Macarons, a decadent kind of French/Italian cookie (with ganache squished between two shells), is
loved by millions of people. The shell was introduced by Catherine de Medici's pastry chefs, in
Italy, 1533. Then later brought to the United States by Pierre Desfontaines who had the idea of
putting ganache between two of the shells to make a sandwich. These cookies take up so much time
to make. The immense amount of time taken to make these cookies is worth it. There are countless
flavors and many different recipes which are usually difficult to make and don't always work.

Who Is Torvald Helmer Selfish
Marriage should be a two–way connection, not only one person ignoring, controlling and
misunderstanding the other. Torvald Helmer is a shallow, selfish, and childish human being. Nora is
a silly, kind, and strong person. To other people they seem like a good fit but behind doors the two
of them are constantly misinterpreting one another. By looking at the way Torvald Helmer speaks
towards Nora, we can see that he does not have any sort of respect or love for Nora anymore. He
believes she is a child that needs to be taken care of. Due to this kind of treatment from Torvald,
Nora takes a stand and leaves him. Torvald is more worried about his reputation to how people on

Taylor Swift. Swift is promoting the brand and encouraging others to buy it. She is seen as a
'credible' endorser because she is an iconic, famous song artist, with gorgeous, smooth skin. To the
audience, it looks like she uses Cover Girl, hence why her face looks so clear and smooth. Cover
Girl used Swift to attract the audience because if Swift is advocating to buying the product then it
must be something really good. Therefore, the audience is more likely to buy the product because
Taylor is endorsing it. Furthermore, the commercial uses pathos because it aims to make the
audience feel like they want to be as pretty as Swift. Therefore, if she uses the product, the audience
would too. Also, it makes the audience feel confident because Swift is dancing in silk like clothing,
and moving smoothly to the beat while wearing the product portrays femininity, elegance, beauty
and happiness. Finally, the commercial uses logos. The commercial starts off by saying "introducing
a breath of fresh air." This is logos because the brand is aware that nature, natural, and freshness are
highly valued. Therefore, they use this to show that the product is somewhat ecofriendly. Also, Swift

Write an essay of between 1000 and 1500 words to comment on Nora Helmer and Blanche DuBois's
relationship with men and support your argument with evidence drawn from these two plays. In A
Doll House, Nora Helmer is the female protagonist in the play. She is the wife of Torvald Helmer, a
manager of a bank and they have three children. In this play, their relationship has undergone
dramatic transformation to a new stage. At the beginning of the story, Nora maintains a good
relationship with her husband. In the opening, Nora is carrying Christmas presents home and gives

These nicknames that Torvald adds to his wife indicate that he does not really respect Nora but she
does not care about them. She only feels excited about her husband's job promotion and extra money
given to her. It seems that Nora enjoys this male–dominated relationship. She embraces traditional
family values that women should obey to their husbands as"the head of a family". However, Nora
shows her different side to audiences in the following acts. She lies to her husband about eating
macaron. From this small detail, we can see that Nora actually tries to defy her husband in daily life
which reveals her defiance of traditional family values and hope of freedom. The second act carries
a foreshadowing of the great change of Nora's relationship with her husband. Years ago, Nora forges
her father's signature on the contract to borrow money from bank to save Torvald's life from serious
illness. It indicates that Nora really loves her husband and plays an active role in her marriage. She
loves her husband and she tries different methods to protect him. Unlike her soft look, Nora has a

A Doll House By Henrik Ibsen
A Doll House
The play A Doll House written by Henrik Ibsen has strong symbolisms such as the doll house,
Christmas tree, macaroons, and New Year's day that help outline the theme. The author uses
symbolisms to pull his audience in and allow them to feel the full effect of inequality and emotional
abuse men gave women in the year of 1879, when Ibsen wrote this play.
The first symbolism in this play is the Christmas tree which represents Nora's inner state of mind. In
Act 2 the stage directions describe the Christmas tree and how it "now stands stripped of ornament,
burned–down candle stubs on its ragged branches." (Ibsen 1266). Ibsen goes on to tell the audience
that Nora is ", alone in the room, moves restlessly about," (1266). Here the Christmas tree
symbolizes Nora's disordered mind.
The Christmas tree also characterizes Nora's web of lies hidden from her husband. She decorates her
life with candy, clothes, toys, and money to make herself feel better, filling the emptiness inside her.
This also shows when she wants the Christmas tree to be perfect and not allowing her children to see
it until it is decorated. All of these materialistic things Nora uses to decorate her life begins to fall
away when the truth comes out. This also leads to Nora's role in the home setting. Just as she was
her father's doll–child, she is also her husband's doll, his possession. She is mere decoration,
someone to sit there, look pretty, and do as her husband says. Nothing but a status symbol

Macaron: Chocolate and Almond Flour
A lot of people get the wrong impression about macarons and avoid making them because they're
supposedly the most difficult thing in the world to make. Truly, they're not difficult at all. What is
difficult is mastering them. For some reason people mistakenly think if something can't be mastered
on the first try, it's too hard to fool with. But there's no reason to master macarons on the first try.
Unless you just burn the crap out of them, they're going to taste phenomenal regardless of their
flaws. It's like leaning to ride a bike, except that when you "fail" you get delicious cookies instead of
a skinned knee. So relax. Tell yourself it's okay if they don't have feet, it's okay if they crack, it's
okay if they're hollow. Each time ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
At that point, turn the mixer off and add in any extracts/flavor/color and whip for a final minute on
the highest speed, just to show it who's boss (and to evenly distribute the color/flavor). I highly
recommend not adding any flavor or color if it's your first time, or if you're wanting to learn about
macarons. Additives make learning trickier. If you're not here to learn, just to eat, then carry on! At
the end of this minute, you should have a very stiff, dry meringue. (Check out this photo if you'd
like to see a picture of how your meringue should look.) When you remove the whisk attachment,
there will be a big clump of meringue in the center, just knock the whisk against the bowl to free it.
If the meringue has not become stiff enough to clump inside the whisk, continue beating for another
minute, or until it does so. Now dump in the dry ingredients all at once and fold them in with a
rubber spatula. Use both a folding motion (to incorporate the dry ingredients) and a
rubbing/smearing motion, to deflate the meringue against the side of the bowl. First timers: the dry
ingredients/meringue will look hopelessly incompatible at first. After about 25 turns (or folds or
however you want to call "a single stroke of mixing") the mixture will still have a quite lumpy and
stiff texture. Another 15 strokes will see you to "just about right." Keep in mind that macaronage is

How Can Hope Be Both Sustaining Or Misleading
. How does the author of a prescribed text explore the idea that hope can be both sustaining and
misleading?
The play A Doll's House written by Henrik Ibsen uses the idea of hope to influence his characters.
The thoughts and feelings of these characters represent the hope that all human feel. The theme and
tone of the play was hopefulness and deception. This play was written to portray what life was like
in the 19th century. The characters are all unique and contrast the true nature of each other.
Symbolism is the main language element displayed in this text.
The play is often considered a story of manipulation. Henrik Ibsen wrote this text to represent life as
it was at the time. It uses the themes of hope and deception to allow the reader ... Show more content

Nora has an intense character development throughout this text. This character displays both major
themes of the text, hope and deception. She displays deception because when she wants something
and can't have it, she goes and gets it anyway then covers it up with a lie. She has no problems lying
to her husband. In contrast Nora's old friend displays the hope that a woman can have while trying
to gain independence. From a liberationist perspective this minor character is gaining freedom. This
character, Christine, has reached the liberationist part of her life, she's had a husband, and she makes
her own decisions, she is now free. Manipulation is still present when this character uses her
relationship with Nora to gain a job.
This text was not written as a feminist text, however, modern society often interprets it as this. The
text displays Torvald's masculinity "Nora. How painful and humiliating it would be for Torvald,
with his manly independence to know he owed me anything." (Act one, Page 11). The text is
interpreted as feminist because despite the elements of male masculinity the female characters in the
text are still trying to gain independence. This is difficult due to the simple nature that the characters
are displayed

The Importance Of Tourism In France
France is one of Europe's largest countries. This country is bordered by six other countries Germany,
Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Italy, and Spain. Also France attracts a lot of tourist, because of
its fine dining, wonderful landmarks, and islands. The french revolution was when the Monarchy
was displaced and a complete reestablishment was forced upon the
Roman Catholic Church. This revolution began in 1789 and ended about the late 1790s.
These are most places tourist come to see in France. In Paris you have the Eiffel Tower,
Notre Dame, Louvre, and many other wonderful places. In Versailles, there is a castle of French
kings literally it's a castle of the royal family, who were all french kings. They died and wanted to be
the only people to live in that royal castle. Cote d'Azur has turquoise blue sea and great beaches, that
means clean nice water, you get to walk on the warm crystal sand, etc. However, there are many
more exciting places and other things to see in France like historical landmarks.
Did you know Paris is known as the love city? Because a lot of couples come there yearly and spend
time together, and just enjoy the love filled air. This country costs a lot of money to go here. For a
person who's on a budget it costs about $53.13 per person. For a person who's in the middle with
their money, they spend about $150.03 per person. Which means if your a cheap person and you

Uncovering the Origins of the French Macaron

Deep in the heart of central France, picturesque villages lie on the banks of the rivers, castle–like
turrets hold up bridges and medieval churches peek out over forests of green. It could be a great
setting for a historical romance or the pastoral setting of a Monet painting. But the small town of
Montmorillon has yet another claim to fame. Consumed by French royalty and later fawned upon by
gourmands world–wide, the intensely–flavored almond pastry known as the macaron was born here.

different countries. France to be exact. France is located on the continent of Europe. France's capital
is Paris (ile–de–France). In France, the french language is an english based language. Therefore, it is
easier to comprehend or make out what a person is trying to say. The currency in France are Euros
meaning, one euro in France equals a dollar and seventeen cents in US dollars (WorldAtlas). A Lot
of their known foods such as french toast, bagels, and even crêpes are eaten on a daily basis for
breakfast around the world. With that being said, some foods people may eat are french foods and
they would not even know it. There are many things to be informed on about the country, but here
are some basic things to focus on particularly their lifestyle, language, and foods. Lifestyle is the
typical way of life of an individual, group, or culture. The "France lifestyle can be a traumatic
experience, and most foreigners are shook by the attitudes of French people"(Zimmerman). If you
were to walk into a restaurant or even just a pastry shop, you would always have to greet them first
or they will not serve you. "In france properties range from derelict farmhouses and barns to modern
townhouses and apartments with modern conveniences, but on the other hand manor houses are
requiring complete restoration to new luxury chalets and villas"(Zimmerman). Cars driven in France

A Doll House And Machinal Analysis
While A Doll House and Machinal arose from very different time periods and theatrical movements,
they both tell similar stories and touch upon similar social issues. The common theme between them
is the idea of freedom of the individual (specifically women) from society.
In A Doll House, Nora finds herself subordinate to her husband as well as the rules of society.
Torvald forbids her from the consumption of macarons, bestows on her an allowance as if she were
a child, persuades her to do as he wishes, dance like this, not like that, and she like a "good little
lark" obeys his most every will. Her act of courage and independence, illegally taking out a loan to
save his life, is seen as wrong in the eyes of society, while she sees it as necessary and forgivable; it
is what a good wife should do for her husband.
Similarly, In Machinal, Young Woman finds herself trapped in a society by and for men. She marries
her boss, whom she finds revolting, not out of love but for the protection of her financial and
occupational stability, which is expected of society (as evidenced by her coworkers deciding that it
is the right choice for her and she would be a fool not to take it). She becomes a mother not because
she wants to, but because it is what her husband (a stand–in for society), and therefore society,
expect. Men are judge, jury and executioner, and during the court her narrative is stolen and
distorted by the male journalists. The only time she makes a decision for herself is

Henrik Ibsen 's A Doll 's House
A Doll's House is a play by Henrik Ibsen about the liberation of the protagonist, Nora, from a toxic
and oppressive relationship in the Victorian Era. Based on a real friend of Ibsen, Nora portrays a
seemingly childish and bubbly persona, caged by noble sacrifices and a web of innocent lies.
Manipulative and careful, she works furtively to solve all of her problems independently. This
contrasts the view her husband has of her as his little doll. He suppresses her freedom of speech,
thought, and even the freedom to eat what she pleases. While readers may get the impression that
Nora is immature, she is slowly but surely revealed as an independent and responsible woman. At
the beginning of Act One, Nora acts like a child, dancing around ... Show more content on

While it is apparent Torvald loves Nora deeply, he treats her like an object he is free to and control
and play withm hence the name A Doll's House, which refers to Nora. Nora lives her life to please
her husband due to a childhood of doing the same for her father "'I should not think of going against
your wishes'"(6) she proclaims, as she wipes the remnants of a macaron off of her face so she would
not be found in violation of the strict rules that prohibit the consumption of desserts, "'Hasn 't Miss
Sweet Tooth been breaking rules in town today? [...] taken a bite at a macaroon or two?' 'No,
Torvald'"(6). He dictates the conversation by establishing himself as dominant, using belittling pet
names and making his supposed subordinate feel unnecessary guilt for going against his arbitrary
demands. She feels the need to lie about something as simple as eating a macaron. Torvald brings
out the doll–like, childish tendencies in Nora by inflicting these irrelevant rules and restrictions
upon who he imagines to be his thoughtless, innocent, and weak–willed housewife. When Nora is
interacting with other characters, these tendencies are not apparent, because they speak to her as an
equal and don't have the power a husband held over his wife in the Victorian Era. Their relationship
is similar to that of a parent and child, which Nora comes to terms with before the end of the play.

A Doll House And The Glass Menagerie Essay
A Doll House and The Glass Menagerie Essay #5
In The Glass Menagerie, by Tennessee Williams, and A Doll House, by Henrik Ibsen, each
protagonist faces the difficulty of society's rule. Tom, being the "man of the house", provides for his
family and is depended upon. Were as Nora is co–dependant of her puppet master of husband
Torvald. Despite their differences, Tom and Nora parallel the flaws in their common daily lives.
Tom was bequeathed the position of head of the house after his father, a former telephone man, "fell
in love with long distances." Nonetheless, Tom still craves "long distance." He spends his daily life
stuck in a shoe warehouse only to "[retire] to a cabinet of the washroom to work on poems." Tom

Tom's guilty pleasure is going to the movies and bars, where as Nora's is buying macarons against
Torvald's instruction. The two perform these actions and use what precious money they have to gain
their personal idea of freedom. Tom goes out to get away from his restraining mother and sister. He
knows that his mother does not approve of drinking and orders him to "promise, [he'll]–never be a
drunkard!" However, he uses alcohol to forget the day. On the other hand, Nora uses her macaroons
as a form of power over Torvald. Torvald does not approve of her eating sweets, therefore she eats
them in secret as a way to gain freedom from hold. Both characters share the same attribute of
wanting freedom, even though they know it is difficult for them to gain due to their circumstances.
Nevertheless, both have a sudden realization that they need to leave their homes. Tom's curious
persona takes control and he one day leaves his family. Nora realizes that she was just a "doll–child"
that was "played with as [she] played with [her] dolls." Each leave their families to explore the
world for what it has to

Personal Narrative: Six Essentials For Lasting Recovery
For my 28–day experiential exercise I was determined to renounce sweets and pastries. I have been

loose much more weight. I have been able to lose a substantial amount of weight but it has taken me
some time. But, because I love sweets, it had become impossible for me to reach my goal. Before
starting this experiment, I would say that I was addicted to sweets such as pastries, macarons, milk–
shakes, ice creams, and cake.

addiction to sugar was shifting in a positive direction. So at that point I didn't care what anyone had

Taking a Look at French Macarons
French macarons, also known as 'macarons', are one of the most popular treats in the world. Today,
it consists of a crunchy shell but chewy inside and are sandwiched between a great filling. Many
countries have their own variations of a macaron, but French macarons are the most well known in
the United States. Macarons have changed greatly since their origination, from their fragrances and
flavors, to the beautiful colors of their shells.
A macaron is a simple French cookie that has it's many originations. The shell of the macaron has
derived way back to the Renaissance, according to Dominique Michelle. Macaron shells are made of
almonds, which were mainly exported from Arabic countries. The almonds were transported to
Rome, then into Italy to be made into an almond paste in the early 1500's. This paste was served as a
round, dry cookie that was feasted upon in savory dishes, rather than dessert.
The paste finally made it's way to France in 1533 because of Italian wife of Henri II, Catherine de
Medicis. She was born in Italy and was taught by her father the recipe of the almond paste.
Supposedly, the cookie had saved her from dying of starvation. At this time, the cookie was served
plain with no color or filling. Italian bakers named this delicacy a 'macaron'. The cookie got it's
name from the Italian word 'macaroni' because it was made with similar ingredients. Almond flour,
an egg meringue, and sugar were the simple ingredients in the recipe to make the macaron cookies

mean the same thing. But, don't use macaroni in replacement of a macaron shell. There is so much
more to making a macaron then making two shells with flour and water and adding frosting to the
middle. To make a macaron you will need butter, eggs, salt, sugar, almond flour, food coloring(the
color that your flavor is going to be), vanilla extract, and your choice of a filling flavor. First, mix
together the sugar and almond flour into a somewhat big bowl. Into a smaller bowl mix egg whites

Bulannies In New York

Literary Devices In A Doll's House
Analysis of Henrik Ibsen's A Doll House
In "A Doll House" by Henrik Ibsen was created during 1800s time period. This play helps shine a
light on the gender roles of the 1800s while also creating a twist that was uncommon for this period.
During this time period, women were left home to oversee the domestic duties, while men went to
commuted to work (Hughes). Men were seen as physically superior but morally inferior to women;
which is also portrayed within this book (Hughes). This play marks the beginning of Henrik Ibsen's
realist period, which he explored the ordinary lives of small–town people (Kirszner and Mandell
881). This "modern tragedy" helped make Ibsen famous internationally because of the real–life story
it captured (Kirszner and Mandell 882). Henrik Ibsen uses an array of literary devices to help keep
the reader captivated from beginning to end. Three of the most prominent literary devices used by
Henrik Ibsen are symbolism, foreshadowing, and an array of themes. These literary devices help
transform a basic play into a complex story of lies and deception.
Symbolism is used a lot within in the play and is a figure of speech that is used when an author
wants to create a certain mood or emotion in a work of literature (What is Symbolism in
Literature?). Majority of "A Doll House" is filled with symbolism that creates an intense emotion for
the reader. The setting of the play is around Christmas Day and is approaching New Year's Day. This
holds a lot of symbolism

An Imbalance Of Power In Relationships In William...
The four texts that I have studied all show an imbalance of power in the main character's
relationships. In William Shakespeare's Macbeth we see Macbeth being manipulated by Lady
Macbeth, he has stopped making his own decisions and just obeys Lady Macbeth's wishes. In my
three other texts; Henrik Ibsen's A Doll's House and two Katherine Mansfield short stories, Frau
Brechenmacher Attends a Wedding and New Dresses, we see the wives being dominated by their
husbands and being treated more like an accessory rather than a partner. In all these texts the social
norm was for woman to be mothers and be at home, though society has changed its laws for
woman's rights has society really changed what we view woman's roles to be.
Equality in relationships is something that you assume would be valued. Ibsen shows this is not the
case, clearly with the main characters Nora and Torvald. It is clear to see from the start of the play
that this relationship is fair from equal. When Nora is first introduced to the readers she is walking
in the door to her husband and hers 'shared' house, before she even greets her husband she is already
being accused of buying macarons which for some reason Torvald thinks are unacceptable for Nora
to buy and accuses Nora of being 'a little spendthrift'. At first Torvalds's pet names for Nora could be
seen as sweet but after act one being full of 'little squirrel where are you rustling?' and 'my sweet
tooth' it is obvious that this isn't an equal relationship

A Doll's House Conflicts
Throughout the A Doll's House Nora experiences many conflicts. She experiences problems with
society and its expectations of her. She goes through problems with the men in her life: emotionally
and mentally. She also goes through problems within herself. But these issues will change her for
the better.
Firstly, Nora goes through a conflict with Krogstad. He blackmails Nora by threatening to tell her
husband about the money she borrowed from him. "Have you forgotten that it is I who have the
keeping of your reputation?" (45) Krogstad knows all he has to do is tell her husband, Helmer about
the debt and Nora's life will be over. Nora also has a conflict with Helmer. Nora and her husband
have a broken marriage because they don't seem to be on the same page. Nora genuinely cares and
loves her husband; hence her reasoning for borrowing the money. Torvald loves Nora but it seems
the outside appearance of their relationship is what matters to him. Their broken marriage causes
another conflict, keeping secrets. Helmer has no idea that Nora borrowed money from Krogstad to
help him. Nora kept this a secret because they don't communicate with each other. ... Show more

getting in trouble. The second internal conflict she has is she has no self–respect. She allows Helmer

conversations with Helmer, he will continually calls her names. "Come, come my little skylark must

Though I in no way think it was right of Nora to leave her family as she did and would never

as a unloving egoist. If anything Nora did everything she could for her children out of love. Once
she heard that a 'nearly all young criminals are the children of mothers who are constitutional liars'.
She completely backs away from her children as we see the maid constantly telling her that her
children want to play with their mother and her answering 'no, no, no – don't let them in'. This
showing if not anything else that she doesn't mean to do any harm but is naive to the world around

The Connection Between American Culture And Globalization
Nowadays, the international trade are more frequently than ever before, foreign companies' products
trade into the local market, gradually changing the life style and dietary habits of local citizens, this
has definitely accelerated the speed of globalization, a term that can be defined as a system with
very integrative and complicated connections among countries(Pakenham et al, 2013). Another
factor that contributes to globalization is immigration, as immigrants enter a new country bringing
their own culture and mores make the entire society more diversified. One of the obvious cultural
aspects that is effected by globalization is food. For example, the impact that American companies
posed on other countries' culture can be related to food, which represents on two levels. First, in
many countries food itself is an integral aspect of the culture. Second, a certain society's custom and
habits can be influenced by food restaurants (The Levin Institute, n.d.). Now people could enjoy

with Toasted Coconut and Whipped Cream on the side from the Hanami kiosk This is an oldie but a
popular one. A mainstay since the beginning of the festival this may be the most unique sushi you
will ever try and it doubles as a dessert. It also makes for the prettiest pictures with its pink and
white color combo. 13059844_10153392061265981_1179178037_n

Salsa, Chayote and Green Papaya Slaw with Lime–Cilantro Vinaigrette from the La Isla Fresca This
is a new food offering for this year and one of the best! My favorite is the grouper one but I heard
the chicken is delicious too. The mango salsa and green papaya slaw is what makes this menu item
so good. The salsa is quite sweet and the slaw a bit bitter so together they work perfect. Definitely
one to try! 13023362_10153392061130981_1353428065_n As you can imagine picking just 5 must

Marijuana As A Roon Research Paper
I have to admit that I really never imagined that the idea of a marijuana product that would cause me
to salivate. While other notions might come to mind when considering cannabis, adjectives like
tasty, delectable, scrumptious, yummy, and mouth watering have never been among them. But all
that is quickly changing.
The selection of edible marijuana products currently available in the marketplace is every
expanding. They come in wide variety but none so tempting as the macaroon; at least in my
estimation.
The roon is a great tasting small circular cake or cookie made with organic ingredients. They have
no refined sugars, preservatives, or pesticides. They are often dehydrated to ensure all the nutrients
stay intact.
They are often called medi–roons obviously because they are used for their medicinal qualities; but
clearly also to get a buzz. Medical cannabis is most beneficial when combined with ingredients that
promote good health. As a product, they are a healthier alternative to other edibles. It appears that
more and more both the medial and recreational consumer are beginning to seek out the medi–roon
for this exact reason. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The cannabis can actually be tasted in the product, according to many consumers, but is not
overpowering to the other ingredients. They are made of natural products and are gluten–free, paleo
and vegan. There is a perfect combination of coconut, cacao and cannabis.
Roons are comprised of organic dried coconut, coconut syrup, cocoa, vanilla extract, high graded
medical cannabis, Himalayan crystal salt, and CO2 cannabis oil. Millions of medical cannabis
patients, as well as, recreational users can now enjoy a wide assortment of edible options. They have
become a game changer for those suffering from conditions such as epilepsy, arthritis, PTSD and a
host of other

Case Study Of Ladurée

  • 1. Case Study Of Ladurée Our group Project is based on introducing the French luxury bakery and sweets maker brand, Ladurée, in Hungary: the brand is mostly known for its double decker macarons and its international expansion began in 2005 (ChocoParis, 2015). In this assignment we are going to analyze the Hungarian market to see if the introduction of this brand will collect a positive feedback. In order to start, we are going to talk about Ladurée and give a brief explanation of this luxury brand: Ladurée was created in 1862 when Louis Ernest Ladurée opened a normal bakery shop in Paris, in 16 rue Royale. But in 1871, due to a fire, the bakery was transformed into a luxury pastry shop. Later, Pierre Desfontaines, the grand–son of Louis Ernest Ladurée, came up with ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... 1. Economic situation The Hungarian economy is based on the service sector which has represented approximately the 57% of GDP in the last three years. This sector is collecting the biggest foreign direct investments, estimated around 76,8% . Hungarian industry, which represents 22% of GDP, is highly developed and oriented towards international trade. In concrete it is very commonly addressed to automotive, electronics, metallurgy, chemical or pharmaceutical industry. Since its entrance into the European Union, direct investment by multinationals has been continuous, which has helped to modernize and optimize the productive system of the country. However, the economic market presents some inefficiencies: during the last years the main objective has been to control inflation, because it has suffered a relevant increase from 2011 and 2014. On the other hand, the geographical location of Hungary in Central Europe takes a high advantage due to its extensive network of highways and roads installations. Four European transportation facilities cross Hungary and place the country in a strategic position connecting the various neighboring countries and providing access to major European ports and markets of Eastern Europe. Unfortunately the infrastructure innovation network decreased during the years of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

My mother likes to tell my siblings and I that she had all of our names planned ever since she was a little girl. She ended up naming me Alexa Rae Odom. She says the she named me after the singer Billy Joel's daughter, Alexa Ray Joel. My mother also like to tell me that I interrupted the poker game she was winning just before she went into labor. She says that we could used that money to pay the hospital bill. In my family, there are six members. Two months later, Simba Kovu Odom was the newest member of our family. It took us weeks to come up with his name. Every name someone suggested was met with turned up noses and disdain. Finally, I told my mom that I wanted to name him Simba Mufasa. Shortly, it was changed from Mufasa to Kovu because my mom could not pronounce it. My friend jokes that he is more like Scar than Simba because he likes to hold his toys over couches and watch them fall. Nearly two years later, came Remy Firelord Zuko Martin Odom. I know, what a mouthful, huh? My mom came up with the Remy Martin part. I, obviously came up with the Firelord Zuko part. In my defense, I had just finished binge watching Avatar: The Last Airbender a couple days before we got him. He is a pomeranian–maltese mix but he looks more like a miniature golden doodle. He is so filled with love that he follows my mom and I around the house every day. I live in a black and white house. Growing up, my brothers ' shared one room, my sister and I shared another, and my parents' room was in the middle. The shell was introduced by Catherine de Medici's pastry chefs, in Italy, 1533. To the audience, it looks like she uses Cover Girl, hence why her face looks so clear and smooth. Cover Girl used Swift to attract the audience because if Swift is advocating to buying the product then it must be something really good. Therefore, the audience is more likely to buy the product because Taylor is endorsing it. Furthermore, the commercial uses pathos because it aims to make the audience feel like they want to be as pretty as Swift. Therefore, if she uses the product, the audience would too. Also, it makes the audience feel confident because Swift is dancing in silk like clothing, and moving smoothly to the beat while wearing the product portrays femininity, elegance, beauty and happiness. Finally, the commercial uses logos. The commercial starts off by saying "introducing a breath of fresh air." She embraces traditional family values that women should obey to their husbands as"the head of a family". However, Nora shows her different side to audiences in the following acts. She lies to her husband about eating macaron. From this small detail, we can see that Nora actually tries to defy her husband in daily life which reveals her defiance of traditional family values and hope of freedom. The second act carries a foreshadowing of the great change of Nora's relationship with her husband. Years ago, Nora forges her father's signature on the contract to borrow money from bank to save Torvald's life from serious illness. It indicates that Nora really loves her husband and plays an active role in her marriage. She loves her husband and she tries different methods to protect him. • 50. A Doll House By Henrik Ibsen A Doll House The play A Doll House written by Henrik Ibsen has strong symbolisms such as the doll house, Christmas tree, macaroons, and New Year's day that help outline the theme. The author uses symbolisms to pull his audience in and allow them to feel the full effect of inequality and emotional abuse men gave women in the year of 1879, when Ibsen wrote this play. The first symbolism in this play is the Christmas tree which represents Nora's inner state of mind. In Act 2 the stage directions describe the Christmas tree and how it "now stands stripped of ornament, burned–down candle stubs on its ragged branches." (Ibsen 1266). Ibsen goes on to tell the audience that Nora is ", alone in the room, moves restlessly about," (1266). Here the Christmas tree symbolizes Nora's disordered mind. The Christmas tree also characterizes Nora's web of lies hidden from her husband. She decorates her life with candy, clothes, toys, and money to make herself feel better, filling the emptiness inside her. This also shows when she wants the Christmas tree to be perfect and not allowing her children to see it until it is decorated. All of these materialistic things Nora uses to decorate her life begins to fall away when the truth comes out. This also leads to Nora's role in the home setting. Just as she was her father's doll–child, she is also her husband's doll, his possession. She is mere decoration, someone to sit there, look pretty, and do as her husband says. Nothing but a status symbol ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 54. Macaron: Chocolate and Almond Flour A lot of people get the wrong impression about macarons and avoid making them because they're supposedly the most difficult thing in the world to make. Truly, they're not difficult at all. What is difficult is mastering them. For some reason people mistakenly think if something can't be mastered on the first try, it's too hard to fool with. But there's no reason to master macarons on the first try. Unless you just burn the crap out of them, they're going to taste phenomenal regardless of their flaws. It's like leaning to ride a bike, except that when you "fail" you get delicious cookies instead of a skinned knee. So relax. Tell yourself it's okay if they don't have feet, it's okay if they crack, it's okay if they're hollow. Each time ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... At that point, turn the mixer off and add in any extracts/flavor/color and whip for a final minute on the highest speed, just to show it who's boss (and to evenly distribute the color/flavor). I highly recommend not adding any flavor or color if it's your first time, or if you're wanting to learn about macarons. Additives make learning trickier. If you're not here to learn, just to eat, then carry on! At the end of this minute, you should have a very stiff, dry meringue. (Check out this photo if you'd like to see a picture of how your meringue should look.) When you remove the whisk attachment, there will be a big clump of meringue in the center, just knock the whisk against the bowl to free it. If the meringue has not become stiff enough to clump inside the whisk, continue beating for another minute, or until it does so. Now dump in the dry ingredients all at once and fold them in with a rubber spatula. Use both a folding motion (to incorporate the dry ingredients) and a rubbing/smearing motion, to deflate the meringue against the side of the bowl. First timers: the dry ingredients/meringue will look hopelessly incompatible at first. After about 25 turns (or folds or however you want to call "a single stroke of mixing") the mixture will still have a quite lumpy and stiff texture. Another 15 strokes will see you to "just about right." Keep in mind that macaronage is about ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The play A Doll's House written by Henrik Ibsen uses the idea of hope to influence his characters. The thoughts and feelings of these characters represent the hope that all human feel. The theme and tone of the play was hopefulness and deception. This play was written to portray what life was like in the 19th century. The characters are all unique and contrast the true nature of each other. Symbolism is the main language element displayed in this text. The play is often considered a story of manipulation. Nora has an intense character development throughout this text. This character displays both major themes of the text, hope and deception. She displays deception because when she wants something and can't have it, she goes and gets it anyway then covers it up with a lie. She has no problems lying to her husband. In contrast Nora's old friend displays the hope that a woman can have while trying to gain independence. From a liberationist perspective this minor character is gaining freedom. This character, Christine, has reached the liberationist part of her life, she's had a husband, and she makes her own decisions, she is now free. Manipulation is still present when this character uses her relationship with Nora to gain a job. This text was not written as a feminist text, however, modern society often interprets it as this. The text displays Torvald's masculinity "Nora. How painful and humiliating it would be for Torvald, with his manly independence to know he owed me anything." (Act one, Page 11). The text is interpreted as feminist because despite the elements of male masculinity the female characters in the text are still trying to gain independence. A Doll House And Machinal Analysis While A Doll House and Machinal arose from very different time periods and theatrical movements, they both tell similar stories and touch upon similar social issues. The common theme between them is the idea of freedom of the individual (specifically women) from society. In A Doll House, Nora finds herself subordinate to her husband as well as the rules of society. Torvald forbids her from the consumption of macarons, bestows on her an allowance as if she were a child, persuades her to do as he wishes, dance like this, not like that, and she like a "good little lark" obeys his most every will. Her act of courage and independence, illegally taking out a loan to save his life, is seen as wrong in the eyes of society, while she sees it as necessary and forgivable; it is what a good wife should do for her husband. Similarly, In Machinal, Young Woman finds herself trapped in a society by and for men. She marries her boss, whom she finds revolting, not out of love but for the protection of her financial and occupational stability, which is expected of society (as evidenced by her coworkers deciding that it is the right choice for her and she would be a fool not to take it). She becomes a mother not because she wants to, but because it is what her husband (a stand–in for society), and therefore society, expect. • 86. Henrik Ibsen 's A Doll 's House A Doll's House is a play by Henrik Ibsen about the liberation of the protagonist, Nora, from a toxic and oppressive relationship in the Victorian Era. Based on a real friend of Ibsen, Nora portrays a seemingly childish and bubbly persona, caged by noble sacrifices and a web of innocent lies. Manipulative and careful, she works furtively to solve all of her problems independently. This contrasts the view her husband has of her as his little doll. He suppresses her freedom of speech, thought, and even the freedom to eat what she pleases. While readers may get the impression that Nora is immature, she is slowly but surely revealed as an independent and responsible woman. At the beginning of Act One, Nora acts like a child, dancing around ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... While it is apparent Torvald loves Nora deeply, he treats her like an object he is free to and control and play withm hence the name A Doll's House, which refers to Nora. Nora lives her life to please her husband due to a childhood of doing the same for her father "'I should not think of going against your wishes'"(6) she proclaims, as she wipes the remnants of a macaron off of her face so she would not be found in violation of the strict rules that prohibit the consumption of desserts, "'Hasn 't Miss Sweet Tooth been breaking rules in town today? [...] taken a bite at a macaroon or two?' 'No, Torvald'"(6). He dictates the conversation by establishing himself as dominant, using belittling pet names and making his supposed subordinate feel unnecessary guilt for going against his arbitrary demands. She feels the need to lie about something as simple as eating a macaron. Torvald brings out the doll–like, childish tendencies in Nora by inflicting these irrelevant rules and restrictions upon who he imagines to be his thoughtless, innocent, and weak–willed housewife. When Nora is interacting with other characters, these tendencies are not apparent, because they speak to her as an equal and don't have the power a husband held over his wife in the Victorian Era. Their relationship is similar to that of a parent and child, which Nora comes to terms with before the end of the play. She ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Today, it consists of a crunchy shell but chewy inside and are sandwiched between a great filling. Many countries have their own variations of a macaron, but French macarons are the most well known in the United States. Macarons have changed greatly since their origination, from their fragrances and flavors, to the beautiful colors of their shells. A macaron is a simple French cookie that has it's many originations. The shell of the macaron has derived way back to the Renaissance, according to Dominique Michelle. Macaron shells are made of almonds, which were mainly exported from Arabic countries. The almonds were transported to Rome, then into Italy to be made into an almond paste in the early 1500's. This paste was served as a round, dry cookie that was feasted upon in savory dishes, rather than dessert. The paste finally made it's way to France in 1533 because of Italian wife of Henri II, Catherine de Medicis. She was born in Italy and was taught by her father the recipe of the almond paste. Supposedly, the cookie had saved her from dying of starvation. At this time, the cookie was served plain with no color or filling. Italian bakers named this delicacy a 'macaron'. The cookie got it's name from the Italian word 'macaroni' because it was made with similar ingredients. • 118. Literary Devices In A Doll's House Analysis of Henrik Ibsen's A Doll House In "A Doll House" by Henrik Ibsen was created during 1800s time period. This play helps shine a light on the gender roles of the 1800s while also creating a twist that was uncommon for this period. During this time period, women were left home to oversee the domestic duties, while men went to commuted to work (Hughes). Men were seen as physically superior but morally inferior to women; which is also portrayed within this book (Hughes). This play marks the beginning of Henrik Ibsen's realist period, which he explored the ordinary lives of small–town people (Kirszner and Mandell 881). This "modern tragedy" helped make Ibsen famous internationally because of the real–life story it captured (Kirszner and Mandell 882). Henrik Ibsen uses an array of literary devices to help keep the reader captivated from beginning to end. Three of the most prominent literary devices used by Henrik Ibsen are symbolism, foreshadowing, and an array of themes. These literary devices help transform a basic play into a complex story of lies and deception. Symbolism is used a lot within in the play and is a figure of speech that is used when an author wants to create a certain mood or emotion in a work of literature (What is Symbolism in Literature?). Majority of "A Doll House" is filled with symbolism that creates an intense emotion for the reader. The setting of the play is around Christmas Day and is approaching New Year's Day. This holds a lot of symbolism ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 122. An Imbalance Of Power In Relationships In William... The four texts that I have studied all show an imbalance of power in the main character's relationships. In William Shakespeare's Macbeth we see Macbeth being manipulated by Lady Macbeth, he has stopped making his own decisions and just obeys Lady Macbeth's wishes. In my three other texts; Henrik Ibsen's A Doll's House and two Katherine Mansfield short stories, Frau Brechenmacher Attends a Wedding and New Dresses, we see the wives being dominated by their husbands and being treated more like an accessory rather than a partner. In all these texts the social norm was for woman to be mothers and be at home, though society has changed its laws for woman's rights has society really changed what we view woman's roles to be. Equality in relationships is something that you assume would be valued. Ibsen shows this is not the case, clearly with the main characters Nora and Torvald. It is clear to see from the start of the play that this relationship is fair from equal. When Nora is first introduced to the readers she is walking in the door to her husband and hers 'shared' house, before she even greets her husband she is already being accused of buying macarons which for some reason Torvald thinks are unacceptable for Nora to buy and accuses Nora of being 'a little spendthrift'. At first Torvalds's pet names for Nora could be seen as sweet but after act one being full of 'little squirrel where are you rustling?' and 'my sweet tooth' it is obvious that this isn't an equal relationship ... • 126. A Doll's House Conflicts Throughout the A Doll's House Nora experiences many conflicts. She experiences problems with society and its expectations of her. She goes through problems with the men in her life: emotionally and mentally. She also goes through problems within herself. But these issues will change her for the better. Firstly, Nora goes through a conflict with Krogstad. He blackmails Nora by threatening to tell her husband about the money she borrowed from him. "Have you forgotten that it is I who have the keeping of your reputation?" (45) Krogstad knows all he has to do is tell her husband, Helmer about the debt and Nora's life will be over. Nora also has a conflict with Helmer. Nora and her husband have a broken marriage because they don't seem to be on the same page. Nora genuinely cares and loves her husband; hence her reasoning for borrowing the money. Torvald loves Nora but it seems the outside appearance of their relationship is what matters to him. Their broken marriage causes another conflict, keeping secrets. Helmer has no idea that Nora borrowed money from Krogstad to help him. Nora kept this a secret because they don't communicate with each other. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The first conflict is her desire to be a great wife and mother but she has to surrendered to Helmer's controllingness. She has to listen to whatever he says. For example, Helmer told Nora she could not eat sweets. Nora gets caught eating macarons by Helmer and she had to lie about it to him to avoid getting in trouble. The second internal conflict she has is she has no self–respect. She allows Helmer call her degrading names and speak to her as if she's a child. Even while having simple conversations with Helmer, he will continually calls her names. "Come, come my little skylark must not drop her wings. [...] is my little squirrel out of temper?" ... • 130. Prelude Bellluxe Prelude– Belleluxe– 1632 I am Rose Marseille. I live in Belleluxe, a tiny city with many rich people within it. One of the rich families is my family, the Marseille's. There's Mr. Jacob Marseille (father), Mrs. Mary Marseille (Mother); and my siblings, William (15), Daisy (10), Charles (7), May (1), and Me (13). Along with the arrogant Kellies; Lola and Lela (14), James (27), and John (16). The sweet Scherbaums, and many others. However, there are unfortunately many poor people too. Such as the gentle Gleasons, the helpful Hennrikus', and the wonderful Wendermans. My friends are Grace Gleason; Haley (16), Hannah(15), Hattie(14), and Hallie (13) Hennrikus; and Winifred Wenderman. Haley, Hannah, Hattie, and Hallie have a brother named Henry (14). Winifred has three brothers named Walter (15), Warren (13), and Wilson (10). Chapter One– Friday Snoring sounds echoed throughout the room. Rose, the oldest daughter from the Marseille household, fell asleep in her private French class again. "Rose, wake up!" whispered my sister, Daisy. "Yeah," said Charles, the youngest, and not to mention the smallest child of the five (after the baby). "Young lady, if you snore any louder, you'll frighten Japan!" Explained Mr. Mazzola, the French teacher. "Je suis désolé, Monsieur Mazzola." I said, my cheeks glowing like the color of a rose, embarrassed. "C'est d'accord, Mademoiselle Rose." Mr. Mazzola replied. Later that day, Daisy and I went to visit Mrs. Clemons, the head cook. "Hello, Mrs. Clemons!" I exclaimed. "Well, if it isn't the Marseille girls!" she exclaimed. "How are you doing today?" I asked. "Good, merci!" She replied. "De rien!" I said, a big smile on my face. "Do you have any pastries we could 'taste test'? Daisy asked, the little she– devil she can be. "Yes, actually. I just took out a fresh tray of Macarons for you two to try!" "Yay!" Daisy yelled! While we were eating the macarons, Daisy said we have a knitting and sewing class with Madame Cary. Then have a cooking class with Madame Clemons. Then have a reading and math class with our brothers and Monsieur Scherbaum. Then last, we have an etiquette class with our brothers and Mademoiselle Sherrina. Such a long ... • 134. Descriptive Essay For Macarons M is for Macarons I was fortunate enough to have been able to travel the world from childhood to now, my early twenties. I have visited countries such as Argentina to the cold forests of Romania, tasting traditional meals and treats in every new place I went. I am not a sweet eater, but when visiting France on a family trip, the tour guide took my family to a local bakery, and there is when I fell in love with French Macarons. The crisp outer shell with a hearty layer of flavored filliing in between, feels like your eating a perfect, edible cloud. Even though individuals can have different levels of cooking skills, learning to bake easy recipes and being able to follow simple steps with few ingredients can make anyone feel like a skilled baker making one of the world's most popular French treats, French macarons. Special equipment is recommended to have ready prior to starting the baking process, so your macarons come out perfect with little to no mess. Every baker needs a baking sheet, but a silicone baking mat is essential because when removing the macaron shell after hardening, it will easily lift up compared to parchment paper. A fine mesh sieve and a pastry piping bag with a 1/4 inch round tip will be needed, too. Be sure to preheat your oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit so it can be hot a ready once you are done preparing your macaron outer shells. Most baking recipes call for regular flour to be included in making your sweet treat batch. For making French ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 138. Nora In A Doll's House How would you view a woman that packs her bags and leaves her family with no warning or real reason? Would you view her as a 'heroine', 'a spokeswoman for feminism' for leaving her family in an act of 'defiance' against the separation of male and female rights. Using my three sources Joan Templeton's 'The Doll's House Backlash: Criticism, Feminism and Ibsen', Stephanie Ford's 'A new world for woman?' and Terry Eagleton's 'Realism and a Doll's house'. I will use these resources to prove my thesis of, Nora cannot be viewed as a heroine in the play A Doll's House. Stephanie Ford (2009) says that Nora is in fact a 'tragic heroine' she has used courage to stand up to society's expectations of her and has decided to go her own way and be an individual. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Though I in no way think it was right of Nora to leave her family as she did and would never describe Nora as a heroine I Personally think this seems a bit unnecessarily harsh towards Nora. I agree that it is irresponsible to just drop everything and leave but I don't agree with describing Nora as a unloving egoist. If anything Nora did everything she could for her children out of love. Once she heard that a 'nearly all young criminals are the children of mothers who are constitutional liars'. She completely backs away from her children as we see the maid constantly telling her that her children want to play with their mother and her answering 'no, no, no – don't let them in'. This showing if not anything else that she doesn't mean to do any harm but is naive to the world around her that she ends up doing so anyway. This is how I consider her when she is leaving. I see the harm it will do because I believe that in the perfect world children would be brought up by two parents or at least one. But I don't believe Nora views it this way, she has been told she is 'poisoning them' anyway so really there is no point staying anyway. A much as this is selfish I don't believe it can be viewed as unloving because towards her children she is nothing but ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 146. The Connection Between American Culture And Globalization Nowadays, the international trade are more frequently than ever before, foreign companies' products trade into the local market, gradually changing the life style and dietary habits of local citizens, this has definitely accelerated the speed of globalization, a term that can be defined as a system with very integrative and complicated connections among countries(Pakenham et al, 2013). Another factor that contributes to globalization is immigration, as immigrants enter a new country bringing their own culture and mores make the entire society more diversified. One of the obvious cultural aspects that is effected by globalization is food. For example, the impact that American companies posed on other countries' culture can be related to food, which represents on two levels. First, in many countries food itself is an integral aspect of the culture. Second, a certain society's custom and habits can be influenced by food restaurants (The Levin Institute, n.d.). Now people could enjoy macarons, spaghetti, burritos and sushi without traveling around the world. Globalization makes everyone easily able to approach delicious food in ...
