Work Ethics

1. A belief in work as a moral good: set of
values centered on the importance of doing
work and reflected especially in a desire or
determination to work hard.

2.  Works ethics include not only how one feels about their job, career or
vocation, but also how one does his/her job or responsibilities, this
involves attitude, behavior, respect, communication, and interaction;
how one gets along with others. Work ethics demonstrate many
things about whom and how a person is.

3. Attendance

4. Integrity / Honesty
 People with integrity Not make false accusations or charges.
 Not entitled to claim credit or work not of his own.
 Avoid conflict of interest. Ex: Accepting bribe

5. Team Work
 Support one another when the best interest of the learners,
The school, or the profession is at stake in any controversy.
Be a team player
The ability to get along with others –
including those you don’t necessarily like

9. Flexibility
 Flexibility in handling changes.
 Ensure that conditions contribute to the
maximum development of learners are
adequate.
 Extend needed assistance in preventing or
solving learner’s problems and difficulties.

10. Cooperation
 Understand and support the legitimate policies of
the school and the administration.

11. Respect
 Maintain harmonious and pleasant personal and
official relations with other professionals, with
government officials, and with the ordinary people, individually or collectively.

personnel.
