3. Monoplegia Is a paralysis of a single limb and is usually in the arm. It is associated as a mild and very rare form of cerebral palsy.
4. Quadriplegia This type of paralysis is also know as tetraplegiaand it is caused by an illness or injury to a human that results in the partial or total loss of use of all of their limbs and torso. Both sensation and control are lost.
5. Dysphasia Is one of many speech disorders in which there is impairment of the power of expression by speech, writing, or signs, or impairment of the power of comprehension of spoken or written language. Aphasia is a more severe form of dysphasia .
6. Asphasia Is a disorder that results from damage to portions of the brain that are responsible for language. For most people, these are areas on the left side (hemisphere) of the brain. Aphasia usually occurs as a result of a stroke or head injury. It can also develop slowly if there is a brain tumor, an infection, or dementia.
