2. Treatment
The genre of my film is a thriller-drama.
My film is called ‘Promises’ because of all the promises the
characters make and break throughout the film. Running time is
between 90-100 minutes.
Overview
What is the film about?
In the beginning, a group of teenagers at a house party, Maya
Montgomery walks home alone in the dark through the forest. She
hears something behind her, so she starts running. She suddenly
stops, the scream goes black and you hear her scream .
3. The middle of the film will be Maya discovering what happened
to her, and they will find out that Jenna Lewis killed her when
she revisit the forests and starts having flashbacks to what
happened. She doesn't know why she’s still there, but it
becomes clear when a new students starts at their high school.
The end of the film, Maya will save the new girl from getting
killed by Jenna and it will end with a bright white light will be on
Maya and the ending credits will start. This will give me an
opportunity to create a sequel if the film is successful.

4. Main Characters
Antonia Thomas – She is an ideal person
to act as Maya Montgomery. This is
because her visual appearance suits the
role I was looking for. She is best known
for her role in ‘Misfits’ as ‘Alisha Daniels’.
This will benefit my film because fans of
misfits will find out that she’s starring in my
film and instantly want to go and watch
it.
5. Main Characters
Ben Hardy – Ben will be a suitable
person to act as Scott McCall. He is
suitable to act as Scott as he is visual
representation of what I imagined him
to be. In addition, because of his
previous role in EastEnders, it will appeal
to fans.
6. Main Characters
Jorgie Porter – is best suited to play
Jenna Lewis, also known as the jealous
girlfriend. Just like the other two actors, I
think she is visually representing a
stereotypical jealous girlfriend. She will
also be attracting her previous fans of
Hollyoaks.

These are the ideal
clothing ideas for Maya
Montgomery. As they are
kind of casual but not
overly casual.

Scott to also look casual
as its just a small house
party.

I wanted Jenna to stand out from
all the rest. So by dressing her up
this way while everyone else is
dressed casually will defiantly
make her stand out.
I’ve chosen a red dress and it’s
bright and bold and you will be
able to stop her in a big crowd,
which is what I was aiming for.
13. Pre-production - Location
The first location I will be using is a house, for the
house party. The house will have to be located
somewhere in the UK in order for it to be a UK
film.
The forest will also have to be in the UK.

Budget for the crew and the equipment
in total is £867 thousand.
All my main actors will cost between
£150 - £250 thousand.
This will come to a grand total of £1.5
million
19. Target Audience
Age range - 15 - 25 years, which will be people in the social
economical group E because they have a lot of
disposable income. It will appeal to females because they
love drama, but some males might want to see it because
of the thriller.
The release date will be January 3rd 2016. This will benefit
my film because it will be the holidays at this time of year.
