6. Cost Distribution Methods
There are so many different ways to market and distribute products to customers these days;
television commercials, billboards, and the internet to name a few. The internet has made many
markets available to people thousands of miles away, and it makes it easier to buy things using your
credit card right over the telephone or through a web–site paying system. Then there are newspapers
and magazines. Magazine catalogs offer a way to shop without leaving your home as well when you
pay by check or credit card. People love to spend money and the easier it is to spend money the
more willing they are to do it. So which distribution method is best? The direct distribution system

The point I'm trying to make is that when you operate a business you want to keep your over–head
down as much as possible and if you already have the internet at your place of business it is not an
extra expense that you need to account for.
On the internet there are several ways to advertise just about anything for free. The two most
popular places to advertise for free is Facebook and MySpace. These two sites are viewed by
millions daily all around the world. MySpace has an average viewer of 35 years of age or older and
the average age of visitors to Facebook everyday is between the ages of 12–17. Last I checked, all of
the motioned ages go to the movies and it just makes sense to advertise and it makes even more
sense to create accounts for both of these internet hosts if anything because that it's free.
Another thing to consider once you've figured out where to advertise is how easily obtainable is
your product? How convenient is it to ascertain? People who go to the movies do not go there on a
time crunch. People who attend movies have an hour or three to spend. The smart thing is to have at
least an ATM machine available for those customers who forgot their cash. The key in convenience,
let's make it so all of our services are available to be paid by plastic. It is easier for consumers to
carry a credit card than cash. They have the time to go, it is up to us as entrepreneurs to make it
easier for them to spend their

8. The Cultural Impact Of Technology
The world today is very different from the world our grandparents lived in. There are a lot of
advancements in technology that make things obviously different, but there are also many changes
in our culture and society that has been affected by technological changes that many people fail to
realize. One film that showcases the cultural impact of technology is the movie Hackers, directed by
Lain Softley. The film is centered around the latest technology available (in 1995 when the film was
released) and the growing culture centered around the elite hacker community. The premise of the
film is that a group of hackers are being framed for a virus that was launched to capsize ships if a
demand for five–million dollars was not met. The group of hackers work together to prove that they
are innocent by hacking into the database of a major corporation. In that database is the virus that
was created by the company's head of cyber security that was supposed to steal a total of twenty–
five–million dollars. The ships that were to be destroyed were all linked through satellite
connections. Each ship is automatically guided and managed by a central computer. While it is
commonplace for companies today to use satellite guidance systems and remote access to onboard
computers, the movie does nudge the story along by making the whole system extremely vulnerable.
Such things like three–character passwords and single centralized command centers are obvious
flaws with the system used in the

10. Women Are More Likely To Be Sexualized In Movies
Women are more likely to be sexualized in movies than their male rival. The female body is three
times more likely to appear partially or fully nude in movies and cable television. Male nudity is
normally used as shock–value in movies by today standards. Viewers from a heterosexual male
perspective don't want to see male genitals because it could make them feel uncomfortable. Our
society have prevented male actors from wanting to exposing themselves because of fear. This taboo
public display of a man's penis was seen as overly sexual and a threat to man's sexuality, but time
has change and more actors are baring it all on the big screen.

12. Marvel Cinematic Universe
Ever since I was able to open my eyes, I've watched countless movies from countless of different
movie franchises. I've watched some of the best movies ever made, and some of the worst movies
ever made too. That includes watching the movies made from small and unknown movie franchises
to large and famous franchises. Watching movies is like a hobby for me; every weekend, I would
watch a brand new movie in the theatre or search for a amazing movie that I have not seen before.
With the experience of watching a countless number of movies, I know out of all the movie
franchises, Marvel Cinematic Universe is by far the best movie franchise, having the highest movie
ratings and the largest Worldwide Box Office and Domestic Box Office. Marvel Cinematic Universe
has made 22 movies so far, but only released 17, and those 17 have been amazing to watch. The
movies have the highest average on Rotten Tomatoes. The average Rotten Tomatoes is about 83%,
which is relatively high considering it is the average. Rotten Tomatoes is a system to determined by
people whether the movie is good or bad. It is in percentages, the higher the percentage the better
the movie is. The most recent movie, Spider–man Homecoming was especially entertaining to
watch. It has 92% Rotten Tomatoes which is outstanding. The movie with the highest rating from
Marvel Cinematic Universe of 94% Rotten Tomatoes is Iron Man (Giles). Iron Man was actually the
first movie that Marvel had produced and released. It was a

14. Movies As A Significant Role In The Entertainment Industry
According to Barbra Dozier's blog, movies play a significant role in the entertainment industry.
They are appealing to the viewer's eyes and ears because they combine both video and audio and
they can be watched at home, in theatres, and thanks to the latest technology one can even watch
movies on the go. Just like many individuals, I too spend my time watching movies as a form of
entertainment. The latest one I watched and enjoyed was a comedy named The House. Although the
movie may have had mediocre reviews, The House was still funny and enjoyable to watch. The plot
and conflict revolve around two struggling parents who cannot afford to send their sure–to–succeed
daughter to college after the town's scholarship program no longer had funding. As result the parents
and a friend started an illegal underground casino in his domicile in order to make money before the
time to pay their daughter's tuition came around. The rated R movie directed by Andrew Jay Cohen
contains many well known actors such as Will Ferrell, Amy Poehler, and Jason Mantzoukas.
Although there were well known actors the movie revolved around three. Will Ferrell an American
actor and comedian known for playing the elf in Elf ,played the father Scott Johansen. Amy Poehler
plays Kate Johansen the mother and wife in the movie. Known for her role in the sitcom Parks of
Recreation, Poehler brings some of her comical characteristics to the movie making The House
much more enjoyable to watch. Jason Mantzoukas,

Lesson 5 Review Comparison Activity
For this assignment I chose to read the reviews on the motion picture "The Lovely Bones". I have
read the book, but wanted to see if the movie was worth watching. I found two reviews for this
movie one from Opposing Viewpoints and the other from Roger Ebert's Movie Blogs. Opposing
Viewpoints I found on the school database that was given by my instructor and the Roger Ebert
review I found on the internet. Both these reviews demonstrate a different take on the movie and
explain further on what really stood out to them on the content of this movie. In conclusion, these
reviews do have me convinced that the movie is well produced and is as good as or even better than
the book. However, between the two reviews there was both similarities and differences. The
similarities was the focus on the in between after–life, they both focused on describing how unique

Roger Ebert stated " The Lovely Bones" is a deplorable film with this message: If you're a 14–year–
old girl who has been brutally raped and murdered by a serial killer, you have a lot to look forward
to" (par 1). This quotation is a very bold opinion that is straight to the point and is a little morbid for
my taste. However, this is appropriate for the review being a blog style. The voice that Greg Ebert is
trying to express, is his opinion and what the movie translated to him. He does express the dramatics
of the storyline and how from the beginning we know she was murdered and that the reveal of the

20. Home Alone Book Comparison
"Home Alone 2: Lost in New York", was a comedy film written and produced by John Hughes and
directed by Chris Columbus in 1992. It was the sequel to "Home Alone" and the second film in the
series. The movie featured Macaulay Culkin as Kevin McCallister, and Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern
played the roles of the Wet Bandits. The movie also featured John Heard, Catherine O'Hara, and Tim
Curry. The movie is about Kevin and with his family choosing to take a vacation to Florida.
However, Kevin makes a mistake, takes the wrong plane, and ends up going to New York City. Once
in New York, Kevin tries using his father's credit card to stay at the Plaza Hotel, but soon comes
across by the Wet Bandits and must outrun and out–prank them again. For this assignment I
researched both Opposing Viewpoints library database and searched the internet for reviews on this
movie. Articles from both sites offer similar views but presented in different ways. I compared and
contrasted both sites on the issues of quality of information and intended audience, when deciding
which is most useful.
Opposing Viewpoint offered viewers a formal review geared toward an audience who had not seen
the film. The introduction started with the catch phrase "The Brat is back", to set the tone and

There I was able to find a different kind of review that was more critical. I selected a review by
famed film critic, Roger Ebert. His review was more subjective and written out of disappointment
and mixed emotion. His review seemed to be geared more toward an audience who was undecided
about seeing the film. He stated, "I have a feeling that "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York" is going
to be an enormous box office success, but include me out. I didn't much like the first film, and I

22. The Representations of Femininity in Pride and Prejudice
Jane Austen, one of the most well–known 19th century novelists recognized today continues to
captivate people with stories of love and romance through the transformation of her novels into film
and television. All of her novels are about women dealing with romance, courtship, and marriage
during a repressing period. Most of her characters and stories revolve around the lives of the upper
class. It centers on the values, rituals, and manners of high society in England during the Regency
Era. Her most popular novel, Pride and Prejudice published in 1813 maintains the interest of its
audiences as it did almost two centuries earlier as evidenced by its frequent incarnations. In 1995,

This adaptation offers an accurate representation of the story and characters which overall offers a
beautiful visual rich in semiotics for exploration. In Roberta Grandi's article, The Passion
Translated: Literary and Cinematic Rhetoric in Pride and Prejudice, she observes that "in an age
when naked bodies are overexposed and sex is common topic of discussion, costume films
rediscover a taste for visual repression. Through the concealment of the bodies and translation of
their sensuality into objects, both voyeuristic and fetishist sensations are enhanced" (50) which I
believe is the reason behind the lasting appeal of period dramas. This will keep audiences, especially
the younger viewers today, engaged in the characters conversations, actions and tiny gestures in an
attempt to decipher what the characters truly feel and think as in Grandi's words, "if passion is
nowhere expressed it means that passion is concealed everywhere" (50). Even if the times had
changed and values have become more progressive compared to that of Jane Austen time, viewers

The Internet – The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
The internet is a computer based global information system. It is composed of many interconnected
computer networks. Each network may link thousands of computers enabling them to share
information. The internet has brought a transformation in many aspects of life. It is one of the
biggest contributors in making the world into a global village. Use of internet has grown
tremendously since it was introduced. It is mostly because of its flexibility. Nowadays one can
access the internet easily. Most people have computers in their homes but even the ones who don't

Educational institutions provide online courses. This has proven to be very helpful for those people
who have jobs or can't go for further education. Housewives can do courses by applying from their
homes and at the same time look after their kids. It also provides an opportunity to those students
who do not have many facilities in their country or cannot afford to go abroad and study. LSE
(London School of
Economics) is one such institution which has an external program and one can do while at home.
Students can carry out online conversations with professors and other fellow students abroad. Online
lectures also take place through video conferences and one can see ones professors too, making a
sort of online classroom.
Media and entertainment companies use the internet for online news and weather services and to
broadcast audio and video, including live radio and television programs.
Although there are many benefits of the internet, it has also been abused in its usage. The major part
is pornographic material being easily available on the internet. It is readily available to anyone who
has access to the internet. Programs have been formed to stop or infiltrate the information that one is
receiving but still there is no way all sites can be blocked because the World Wide Web is a 'huge

26. Intersectional Analysis of Bend It Like Beckham
Intersectional analysis of Bend it Like Beckham. For this assignment, to make an intersectional
analysis I decided to watch a movie. After searching and thinking for a while I picked the movie
Bend it Like Beckham, since a lot of elements in this movie are applicable on my own life and I
really could relate to one of the characters in the movie. As the title of the movie already implies, it
is about football and takes place in England. Jesminder is a Sikh, Indian girl from a very traditional
Indian family. She is not interested in fashion, boys and her looks; the only thing she is interested in
is football. One time when she is playing in the park with her friends, who are all boys, Jules sees
Jesminder play. Jules is an English, white ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
That is so weird!' And without their knowledge of my sexuality, quite often people assumed I was a
lesbian because I played football. Without knowing any axes of my life, I was automatically put in a
lower position, just because I am a girl who played football. This also is seen in the movie. Jules has
short hair, wears baggy clothes and plays football, and her mother overhears a conversation between
Jules and Jess about love, but she misinterprets it and thinks Jules is gay. The mother is very upset
about her daughter being gay and when Jules tells she is not gay, the mother is very relieved and
then says there is nothing wrong with being gay. Even though she says that, she is still happy her
own daughter is in fact not a lesbian. This shows certain stereotypes towards girls that play football,
have short hair and wear baggy clothes. Football is such a gendered sport that it automatically leads
to sexism, thinking girls who play football must be lesbian because they play a men's sport.
Lesbianism is also seen as something less good than being straight, seeing the mother is relieved her
daughter is not a lesbian. The coach of the team, a young, straight white man is ashamed to be the
coach of a girl's team. He had to stop playing football due to an injury, and he wanted to do
something with football. He ended up

28. Jacob Tremblay's Room
The decision to see the movie "Room" with Brie Larson and Jacob Tremblay was fortunately made
before reading the review from New York Times. The number of reviews for each movie is
extraordinary. It can be difficult to select one or two to read and influence your decision. The style
of review for a particular movie can have a great influence on someone who is unsure of whether or
not a movie is worth watching. Reading two reviews for the movie "Room" gave me two different
pictures in my mind of the likeability of the movie.
The first review that I read was from the Internet Movie Database authored by Joseph Ziemniak, an

The use of unfamiliar words and phrases made the review difficult to understand at times and had to
be read repeatedly. According to the reviewer, "Like some mother–and child stories, "Room" is
about two people who have yet to cut the cord." (Dargis, 2015) This review does not grab me from
the get go. Many of the details about the movie were the same. The brief description of the acting
ability of Jacob Tremblay claims to only make the movie bearable as he essentially acts like a child
adding only to air the room out. (Dargis, 2015). The review written by Manohla Dargis was very
technical and appears to have been written by someone who did not enjoy the movie or was required
to review it and didn't put any personal emotion into the review. If this had been the first review I
had read, I may have not taken the time to see the movie. I need to feel the reviewer's emotion in
regards to a movie. Movies need to draw something from you, an emotion or a reaction to the
characters. The first reviewer draws me in to the emotion of the movie, while the second does

32. The Impact Of Piracy On The Internet Essay
The Impact of Piracy
According to the Motion Pictures Association of America website, A pirate is anyone who sells,
acquires, copies or distributes copyrighted materials without permission. Over the past ten years,
technology has greatly advanced, and with these technological advances, digital file sharing easier
than ever. One aspect of these advances is faster Internet connection, which has made it easier to
download large files in the matter of minutes. Whereas in the past majority of people had dial–up
Internet services which in most cases the download rate was no more than 10 kilobytes per second.
Some Internet providers today offer speeds up to one gigabyte per second, which to put in
perspective; a DVD size is usually around 4 gigabytes, so technically someone could download an
exact replica of a DVD in a matter of minutes if not seconds. But even in the dial–up era, internet
piracy was an issue, where programs such as Napster made it easy for people to share files with
people all over the world. Napster, was the first well known peer to peer sharing software where
users were able to directly download songs from other users. Napster surfaced in 1999 and most
internet users embraced it open arms as they were able to download their favorite songs at the
comfort of their home for free. Napster 's reign only lasted about two years, after which the record
companies caught on, and noticed that Napster was affecting their sales, and lawsuits

8. Focused Dark Web Crawling Design Focused crawlers "seek, acquire, index, and maintain pages
on a specific set of topics that represent a narrow segment of the web" (Chakrabarti et al. 1999). The
need to collect high–quality, domain–specific content results are important characteristics for such
crawlers. Some of these characteristics are specific to focused and/or hidden web crawling while
others are relevant to all types of spiders. Some of the important considerations for hidden web
spiders include accessibility, collection type and content richness, URL ordering features and
techniques, and collection update procedures. 8.1. Accessibility Search engines cover the "publicly
indexable web". This is the part of the web easily ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The amount of human participation is dependent on the complexity of the accessibility issue. For
example, many simple forms asking for name, e–mail address, etc., can be automated with
standardized responses. Other more complex questions require greater expert participation. Such an
approach seems more appropriate for the Dark Web, where the complexity of the access process can
vary significantly. UA's AI Lab developed an accessibility metric: databases accessed/total
attempted which helps evaluate their crawler design to access dark web forums. The closer the
metric is to 1 the better the design is. 8.2. Collection Type Crawling research had been geared
toward collecting websites, blogs, and web forums. There has been considerable research on a
collection of standard websites and pages relating to a particular topic, often for the portal building.
There has also been work on collecting weblogs. BlogPulse is a blog analysis portal. The site
contains an analysis of key discussion topics/trends for roughly 100,000 spidered weblogs. Such
blogs can also be useful for marketing intelligence. Blogs containing product reviews analyzed
using sentiment analysis techniques can provide insight into how people feel about various products.
Web forum crawling poses a unique set of difficulties. Discovering web forums is challenging due
to the lack of a centralized index.

39. Robotics A General Overview of a Robot’s Construction
Humanity was and always is attracted to the concept of an artificial being that would make life
easier and more enjoyable. The word Robot was introduced in 1921 by Karel Capek, who was a
check writer in his play "R.U.R" (Rossuum's Universal Robots ) that originally meant compulsory
labor. Then in 1927 Fritz Lang, in his movie Metropolis was the first to project a robot in the
modern meaning. Nowadays the general understanding about robots, according to the Robot
Institute of America as of 1979, a robot is perceived as "A reprogrammable, multifunctional

Mobile robots, or also known as mobots, are quite impressive, when it comes to curriers in busy
building and security guards. These robots are appropriate because of the high availability, and high
reliability since they can work 24/7 and their coordinates are easily monitored. We can say that
mobots are really useful in the everyday life since we already have automotive cruising vehicles and
autonomous underwater vehicles that reduce human error to the minimum.
Another impressive field that robots are used today is in hazardous environment; where for a human
being would be impossible to be in. For example, lunar explorers were used to clean–up the
Chernobyl disaster, and the results were quite impressive. Considering that robots do not need to
breathe, and the effect that toxic and hazardous materials have on them is minimal or better stated
none, the manipulation of such materials is one of the perfect jobs for them. Also, in this field, all of
us have heard of the robots that have been exploring Mars and other planets of our solar system.
Since the time needed to make the researches and collecting of samples is quite long for a human to
stay and in a way or another quite dangerous for his physical and mental health, robots that are able
to learn and need no outside guidance except what is built in for them, are the best and most logical
choice.

43. Computer Architecture : The Terminal Server Architecture
The first famous business applications architecture that was used in the 1950s until 1990 was the
terminal server architecture.
Mainframe architecture:
At the beginning of the application architecture world, we had mainframes that executed all the
applications logic in a centralized manner and the mini computers as terminals that just displayed
the applications screens to the users and captured user's inputs. The main advantage of this
architecture was that deployment was easy to perform. The main disadvantage was that user
interface was very limited, the display was characters based and the user's inputs was limited to a
keyboard.
Client/Server
The terminal server architecture was replaced in the 1990 with the client server architecture. In this
era most of the application logic was moved to the clients and the server was mostly limited to a
database server to exchange data between client and server. One on the main disadvantage of this
architecture was that, you needed to deploy the application on each client and there could be
potential compatibility issues between different clients.
Web App model:
In the early 2000, web application architecture started replacing client/server architecture. Most of
the application logic went back to the server like in the mainframes era. This model solved the
deployment problem that existed with the client server architecture, but brought back the problems
that were in the mainframe era of having to go to the server every time

48. Essay On The Future Of P2p
The Future of P2P Technology and Music
Since 1999, the situation around music has been changed drastically. In that year, the novel software
"Napster" was released. With this software, people became able to get any file they want easily,
sometimes illegally. Some musicians and people in the entertainment industry have tried to
exterminate that P2P "Peer to Peer" technology. But it looks as if their efforts are in vain. People are
going to use P2P technology more and it might as well become the official way to handle music
distribution. The music industry should rather take advantage of the technology than keep trying to
exterminate it.
Originally, Napster was a kind of file sharing software. File sharing software had been developed ...

Actually as far as the networking technology and infrastructure are developed, the trend toward
people getting information through the internet is so strong that it probably cannot be stopped. In the
past, there was a problem that the quality of files obtained through internet was poor. But today, for
example the sound quality of files downloaded from internet is on the level that can satisfy most of
listener, because of the improvement of coding technology. In "P2P Use Is Down, But Piracy Has
New Outlets, Study Says," Antony Bruno reports that, according to the Pew Internet & American
Life Project, the percentage of users taking advantage of P2P software has declined from 58% to
41%. But the research also shows the percentage of swapping music has not changed, 24% to 23%.
Bruno points out people are shifting to other technology to share files, for example e–mail,
blogging, and instant messaging.
In "In Praise of P2P," The Economist reports on the improvements of P2P technology for content
distribution, and use of internet–routed phone. The P2P technology is praised as a bright system if
we use it in an appropriate way. It seems that the entertainment industry should change it's tactics
against file sharing. Instead of demonizing P2P sharing, they should align themselves to take
advantage of it. They should supply music through the internet in a more attractive way than
underground. In "Anger Leads Metallica to the Internet," it is introduced

50. How Investing Became Cool Essay
How Investing Became Cool
Bankers and stockbrokers are not generally viewed as the most exciting people in the world.
Traditionally, they have been viewed as those guys who are always reading the Wall Street Journal
or talking on their cell phones when they're out in public; they wear the same white shirt, red tie
combination every day of the week, and there's no noticeable distinction between work and the rest
of their lives. Not exactly the kind of people you'd want to invite to liven up a Christmas party. And
if you do invite them, they usually end up standing before a group of bored and confused laymen
talking about hedge funds or IPOs. This was a common perception in the past, but within the last
decade this image has ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This number only got larger, and by the end of 2000 there was more money in mutual funds than
there was in the entire banking system. By this time, there were actually more mutual funds than
there were stocks listed on the New York Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq combined. Americans
were pouring money into these investments with an almost religious fervor, under the assumption
that they were all going to become filthy rich.
The Internet contributed largely to the frenzy, primarily because it was the emergence of new
Internet companies that fueled the insane growth of the market and the illusion of easy money.
Amazon.com started it all in 1995 when its initial public offering of stocks doubled the value of the
company in the first day of trading. As Cassidy points out, this proved to be the best opening day for
a stock in Wall Street history for an issue of that size. Over the next five years, more than 400 other
Internet firms went public, making IPOs an almost everyday occurrence, and it wasn't long before
Yahoo! and eBay were household names. Internet stocks were the new hot item, everyone was
trying to get a piece of the action, and just as with any other fad, anybody who questioned this
irrational growth of the Nasdaq was shunned.
With the Internet boom, the stock market was not only brought out into the public spotlight, but it
was also brought much closer to the

52. Computers and the Many Benefits
Computers and the Many Benefits Computers play a huge part in many all of our lives in one way or
another. They have many purposes and are used in various types of environments, such as medical
facilities, government offices, and many households. They also are the reason we are able to surf the
internet, watch animated television shows and see movies with special graphics. Computers have
impacted our lives in many ways. You may not notice it but they did make life a lot easier. Without
computers, the world would be a harder place to live in. Thanks to computers, everyday life is easier
for us. Some people may disagree but most wouldn 't. Computers have made the impossible

Crimes are now being solved with the help of computers and at a higher rate.
Movies with special effects are made with computers. Most of the movies today use computers to
make things look realistic but they are not. For instance the movie "CARS" an animated movie
would not be here today if computers where not around. Imagine not be able to see television shows
that entertain us simply because of the graphics used. The graphics used entice us into show because
it make the show a lot realer then they are. Almost all movies have special effects and those special
effects are made by computers.
Computers are here to stay and things will only get better, because they are here to make everyday
task simpler. Since computers we have been able to cure diseases, find people and help stay
connected to family and friends aboard. As Kinsley 's said, "Home computers [ ] the internet have
expanded human freedom (559). We are able to do so much more with our daily task and with our
personal lives because of computers.

54. Netflix Case Analysis
Netflix was the first company to create an online DVD movie rental service. The service has created
a new ‘movie’ market niche which has secured them a competitive ‘first–mover’ advantage in
this new ‘high–tech’ venture. The popularity of the service has sparked the interest of market
competitor Blockbuster who may become a growing threat to Netflix should they enter the online
movie rental market (Perreault, 2004).
Netflix was founded by Reed Hastings, Netflix was incorporated on August 29, 1997 and began
operations on April 14, 1998. Netflix began operations with an online version of a more traditional
pay–per–rental model which included financial penalties for late returns (US$4 per rental plus US$2

In fact it provides more than 18 million personal recommendations a day. No video store can do
that. Additionally, according to Earnings Digest quality leadership and customer satisfaction has
enabled Netflix to stay afloat despite the advent of powerful competitors like Wal–Mart. Not only
was Reed Hastings able to fend off Wal–Mart’s attempt to bankrupt Netflix, he was able to
convince Wal–Mart to encourage customers to switch to Netflix after the Wal–Mart service fell
through. By staying strong but cooperative, Netflix ended up profiting from many threats.
WeaknessI believe their biggest weakness is often has trouble providing enough copies of new,
popular movies. As a result, a main cause of customer dissatisfaction is Netflix’s inability to
completely satisfy the initial rush for a new movie (Coursey, 1998). However, the company knows it
would be unprofitable in the long run to buy more copies just to serve the rush when a movie first
becomes available, because the copies will not be rented with nearly as much frequency soon after
the rush. Customers have caught on to the fact that Netflix only purchases a limited quantity of new
releases right away, opting to wait a few weeks to buy the bulk of its supply at lower costs. While
this might save Netflix money, it also has the tendency to drive away current and potential
customers. Finally, Netflix does not have a direct connection to any movie studios so it must
purchase its entire media through the consumer

Overall Mister Aronson and his crew do a fantastic job in the visual effects of this movie, making it

the process of manipulating and rearranging video shots to create a new work. Editing is usually
considered to be one part of the post production process" (Unknown 2012).The editing job on Red
Tails was handled by Ben Burtt and Michael O'Halloran. The team does an outstanding job of taking
the breathtaking shots of the cinematography team and putting them into chronological sequences
giving the film the look and feel the director intended. This is especially evident in the battle scenes
such as the aforementioned plane versus battleship where the editors cut between the cockpit and the

Technically his book, The Sublime Object of Ideology, was published in 1989, so one can only
wonder about whether Zizek would have included commentary on the quasi–Cinderella romantic

but focusing briefly on a few key points in the movie – particularly in the light of theory concepts
such as ideology, fetishism, and the commodity–form – should prove equally interesting. While
some critics attacked the movie's fantastical plot – charming hooker/heroine Vivian Ward, played by
Julia Roberts, is "picked up" and essentially "rented" by troubled corporate mogul Edward Lewis,
played by Richard Gere, with the pair eventually falling in love and living "happily ever after" – it

77. Legally Speaking Can Online Piracy Be Stopped By Laws
With how vast and expansive the internet is today, online censorship is a huge debate that will
always be ongoing. There are mainly two sides of this debate. One side says that online censorship
is needed no matter what, and the other side says that the internet is free and that the internet can
never be controlled by the on company or even the government. While both sides have a great point,
there is still a side to take.
The internet in today's day and age is a huge part of everyday life. Some people use it to make
business calls, or have their own website for their store, and even send important information to
others all around the globe. However, there are also websites such as piracy sites that allow users to
download copyrighted material ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
How can this be? Well, from a business standpoint there may be some money loss, however, there
are other ways that this can also produce a significant amount of income. When someone pirates an
album, for example, if they listen to it and then like it, they are going to get more of the artist's work
or more of their albums. When this happens, they might tell all of their friends to check them out
and then they will want to go pirate, or even buy, an album that that band made. Most artists usually
have concerts that require payment to get in. When this group of friends go to a concert that the
band is having within the area, they are supporting this newly found band. Artists make most of their
money from the concerts and shows that they do, not the albums that they sell on iTunes or in the
stores. That money goes to the producers and the people who put out the

All material for study is suitable for academics, and is supported by a system of learning and study.
They are less widely circulated than popular sources and may be understandable only to those who
work or study in a particular field. In addition, scholarly sources are juried through peer review,
which is very detailed to make sure all material is true and accurate. This keeps the balances and
checks in place for those who are learning using scholar material. Popular sources are not governed
by anyone therefore leaving it up to the reader to determine if the information is authentic or not
which can be misleading due to the fact that the reader is not likely an expert in that field of study.
With mainstream or popular sources the information may not contain any references, the writers are
not researchers they are columnists, beginner authors and bloggers. Samples of this work would be
Newsweek, Sports Illustrated, and Time Magazine. Key things to recollect when hunting down
sources inside of the Ashford University Library are that the researcher needs to recognize what they
input when searching because the Ashford University Library database won't look for long sentences
or expressions. The client will need to sort in key expressions for the database to find data on the
point being inquired

81. Marketing Research Pixar
Marketing Research is imperative to Disney Pixar's success. Marketing research is the process in
which managers perform to gather information effectively to introduce their products and services to
their target market. Although the amount of time required for this research depends on the size of the

company's products or services. This process includes 1) assessing information needs, 2) developing
needed information through internal databases, 3) implementation of marketing research, 4)
organization of ideas, and 5) distributing and using information. Therefore, marketing research is
important to developing a marketing strategy because it ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Online ResourceThe online resource the team has chosen is IMDB that stands for Internet Movie
Database. This website provides movie information in the form of movie news, ratings, statistics,
and archival information. IMDB has over 20 different website resources they use to obtain various
types of news and information. These resources are themselves movie news websites and blogs that
contribute to specific and up–to–date news and information regarding all genres in cinema. Box
Office Mojo, CenimaSpy, IFC, ew.com Hollywood insider, and MTV blogs are just a sample of the
resources that IMDB pulls from to create a comprehensive analytical movie website. IMDB
acquired Box Office Mojo in 2008 adding box office statistical analytics to the website.
This online website can work for the Disney Pixar project in several ways. First are the box office
statistics that rank box office intake and run time of movies in the theater. This is bottom–line
information that determines how well the movie performed. This information compares a movie to
