Critical path and critical chain are both schedule network analysis techniques.
Critical path is the one that determines the shortest time to complete a project, which assumes low
uncertainty and does not consider resource dependencies.
Critical chain is a modified or refined technique about critical path; it involves the deterministic and
probabilistic approaches to analyze the project schedule, which is more realistic and practical than
critical path.

duration of the project, say, the total time to complete the project. The finalized total time is more

 Top to Down: When given the total time by project manager, higher level managers tend to
squeeze the time to reduce the time and cost. Therefore, lower level manager has to give up the
initial schedule to satisfy higher level managers. The finalized time depends on the complexity of

Born A Crime by Trevor Noah, is a compelling memoir allowing its readers insight into Noah's daily
life, under apartheid. Just like the title, Trevor Noah was born a crime. To explain, "During

was fluent in many languages and that became one of his strongest tools. Noah explains "If you
spoke to me in Zulu, I replied to you in Zulu... Maybe I didn't look like you, but if I spoke like you, I
am you" (Noah 56). Language is a powerful tool used to unite various strangers to comfortable
acquaintances. Apartheid knew this and "part of the effort to divide black people was to make sure
we were separated not just physically but by language as well" (Noah 49) to further racism.
Throughout Trevor Noah's life, he learned to use the tool of language to his benefit. Furthermore,
Noah used his abilities to blend in during life endangering situations. For example, one day Noah
overheard a group of Zulu guys plotting to mug this "white guy." Speaking Zulu, Noah was able to
turn around and say "Yo, guys, why don't we just mug someone together" (Noah 55). The fact that
Noah was able to speak Zulu, it saved him from an unfortunate experience. The boys realized he
was just like one of them and decided not to harm him. Additionally, Noah and his mother was able
to get out of a sticky situation in a store, because his mother was able to speak Afrikaans (Noah 55).

During those times I observed the client participating in different activities to try and determine her

demonstrated through the potential of margins in discovering new ideas, assisting creativity, and

I have always been a firm believer of the fact that leadership experiences help in shaping a student's
inner as well as outer self to some extent. The kind of leadership activities I have been a part of
range from scholastic activities to sports activities and community services.
My definition of being a leader is one, who is committed to his work, put his best in what his doing
and learning from successes and failures. A leader always strives for success, but when attaining
success seems quite far from reach, the easiest thing is to give up. However, giving up is one's own
defeat in his own eyes.
Representing my school was never an easy job. During a competition like a business quiz or a chess
completion, I saw like 100 other students competing for one title. Among the 100 students,
eventually one student had to win the title. That does not mean that the 99 other students did not
deserve to win. Thus, these activities made me realise that if I regret about not performing well or
losing, it is only going to affect me further. I should be proud of the fact that I got a chance to
represent my school among my school–mates. When leading a team, I have learnt to have faith in
the team and motivate the team–mates every now and then so the confidence level is always at the

Reflection On Community Work
On October 20, my Visionary Volunteers group performed our 10 hours of community service for
this project with the CommUniverCity organization. This organization focuses on bringing people
from the city of San Jose and SJSU students together to help the community surrounding Downtown
San Jose to become more sustainable and use more renewable resources. We volunteered and helped
out at the Safe and Green Halloween Party which took place at McKinley Elementary School which
is very close to our university. This Halloween party was based on the theme of safety on Halloween
and being environmentally–friendly. I was there for the entire duration of the event from setting up
to cleaning up. For setting up, I helped by cleaning trash off the school playground, arranging tables
and chairs for the various activity booths, and decorating the playground for the event. One
important thing which I learned here was that teamwork helps us to accomplish large tasks faster. I
found out that teamwork helps me to become more social and meet new people. This makes the job
more fun as I interact with others while performing my tasks. If I was working alone, I would not
have enjoyed it as much as it would be more work for me. Also, I would not have had anyone to talk
to while doing my work. This is why I enjoyed working with others to clear trash from the
playground.

My Work Experience
The holiday club is a tradition of the Hounslow West Evangelical Church. It is situated on 22
Vicarage Farm Road, Hounslow, Middlesex, TW3 4NW. This activity has to do with little children
between the ages of 3 and 11. It takes place during the summer holiday and it is a five day
programme in August. Before the beginning of the holiday club the executives, that is the Pastor and
his wife, the elders and the youth fellowship, make a plan with various concepts two months before
the programme. I am a member of the youth fellowship and this is how my work experience begins.

The pastor, who is the head of the church, starts the meeting with a prayer and he gives a brief
summary of the origin of the programme. He informs us that it has to do with little children within
the ages 3–11 years. There would be variety of activities such as bible stories, games and memory
verses. We require a medical report on each child, especially those with allergies, we also need their
parent/ carer to sign on who would be dropping the children and picking them at the end of the day's

activities during the meetings and further in the programme. This is when I was elected the secretary
of the youth fellowship and at the moment I felt very responsible and I was determined to make

believe it was due to the fact that I was the secretary and all I wanted was nothing but success

and communities often and the need for a small group or team is essential. These small groups are
formed together to accomplish work by increasing awareness and skill within the participation of

Our group thought that was a good idea and had begun ballooning our ideas with one another. It was
until we started to hear other group's skits and we felt that ours was too basic. A few moments
before we went up to present we quickly put the first idea into the parking lot and two members
came up with the teen pregnancy skit; I personally felt that that was a much better skit idea because
there was more to continue with instead of the first idea. On this task, I was more of a doer.
Although, I did chart the ideas down as the group was throwing them out. I also was a part of the
balloon analogy, building on the idea of our final skit. When one member said that we should do

something else for them to move on to. You should inform the teacher after the activity if you have
to do this.
Learners
There may be a variety of reasons why pupils are not able to achieve. This may be caused by;
Lack of concentration: there may be multiple reasons for pupils finding it difficult to concentrate on
the work they have been given. The work may be at the wrong level for them and it may need
modifying to suit their academic level. Some children have a short attention span and the work may
be taking too long to complete. There is also the possibility of issues at home or they may have
fallen out with friends. You may have to talk to the pupil on their own to see why they cannot focus
as their may be an underlying problem.
Poor behaviour: If any of the pupils are not focused due to poor behaviour you need to intervene
straightaway. If pupils are able to continue interrupting they will do so. Always praise the good

This organization focuses on bringing people from the city of San Jose and SJSU students together to help the community surrounding Downtown San Jose to become more sustainable and use more renewable resources. We volunteered and helped out at the Safe and Green Halloween Party which took place at McKinley Elementary School which is very close to our university. This Halloween party was based on the theme of safety on Halloween and being environmentally–friendly. I was there for the entire duration of the event from setting up to cleaning up. For setting up, I helped by cleaning trash off the school playground, arranging tables and chairs for the various activity booths, and decorating the playground for the event. One important thing which I learned here was that teamwork helps us to accomplish large tasks faster. I found out that teamwork helps me to become more social and meet new people. This makes the job more fun as I interact with others while performing my tasks. If I was working alone, I would not have enjoyed it as much as it would be more work for me.
