I have many friends that are minorities. I have African–American friends I have Asian friends and I feel comfortable being around them. The people
who stereotype these people have obviously never gotten to meet the people who they stereotype. I can tell you that not every person who isn't

Just like me, he wanted to learn about the United States. We would teach other things that each place believed in. I would teach him basketball, he

The article was so intriguing to read because as short as it was, it could have been a whole book. In the article, he leads us into the beginning where
his mother found out he was gay and that was the beginning of his journey. The way his parents reacted is the way a lot of parents react to the point
where kids in this society think that's the only reaction people should be having. Arana (2012) addresses how his parents wanted to fix him and turn
him back into "normal". She even ended up taking him to see a psychiatrist where his moto is about turning people back into their "normal mindset".

Some parents, do not wish for a homosexual child. These types of people believe in tradition, tradition, being used as a loose word, as a "correct"
term for normality. "Traditional" mothers would like to see their baby girls in a white dress, while "traditional" fathers want to walk them down
the aisle. These mothers want to see their sons with a woman like themselves and the fathers want their sons to "be a man." Although these are
possibilities for homosexual couples, there are many people to deem it as abnormal. To some just the idea of their kid being gay is monstrous.
They find it repulsing and if their kids do turn out gay they push them aside. In the film Jenny's Wedding, staring Katherine Heigl, the plot is very
like what I describe above. Katherine's character, Jenny, is pressured constantly by her parents and siblings. They want to know if she is dating
anyone, a man, and if she is ready to settle down. When she lets on that she is dating someone but that it is complicated, her sister assumes she is
involved with a married man. Meanwhile at Jenny's house, her roommate slash partner, Kitty is played by Alexis Bledel, is pushing Jenny to tell her
parents that she is gay. Kitty drops Jenny off at the mother's house and then leaves. Jenny then comes out to her mom and her dad. Her mom takes is
