presents to give to family and friends as well as to our Kendal residents visit our classroom. As we focus on this season of
giving and try to focus on others instead of ourselves, I challenge you to do something with your child to help them focus on
others in need. It could be putting money in the Salvation Army bucket or donating to children in need.
I hope to see you at our Holiday Program on Thursday, December 10th

December 2015 Newsletter
Healthy Tidbit for the Month:
It’s easy to get wrapped up with the rush of the
holidays and not focus on the true meaning of the
season.
Challenge this Month:
Do something with your child to help them focus on
others in need. It could be putting money in the
Salvation Army bucket or donating to children in need.
Kendal Intergenerational News:
Santa is coming to visit Kendal! Stay tuned
for more information. If you have siblings
that you would like to bring to this event
you may do so as well.
We look forward to seeing you there.
2. From the KELC Teachers:
From the Classroom:
First, we want to say THANK YOU to everyone for a successful Luncheon! We truly appreciate
everyone coming and sharing a meal together. And Thanks to our parent volunteers for helping us put it all
together.
It’s December! Can you believe it? Your little elves are hard at work making presents and learning
about giving to others. We are talking about how we celebrate at home whether it is Hanukah, Christmas, or
any other cause for celebration. We are going to be talking about all of the holidays this month as well. We
are really focusing on how it is a season of giving. What can you do for others or give to others has been our
focus questions.
Our Holiday Concert is December 10th
at 6pm. You will drop your child off in the room and head
down to the Auditorium with your cookies. There will be a table set up to set your cookies on. Please drop
your child off between 5:45 and 5:55 p.m.
We hope everyone has a great holiday season!
Have a great month,
Sara, Karen, Mary, Robin, and Macie
