What are you doing this holiday season for those less fortunate?Established 1999TheChristmasSmilesProject
How it began…Two regular people began this project in December 1999.We started giving to just a couple of kids with a small group of volunteers and we have now grown to giving to over 500 kids and a large group of volunteers. We wanted to give to those less fortunate, because we believed that was the true meaning of Christmas. We chose the Baby House because they are always in need of volunteers cheering the children up. Florida City Elementary was chosen as a meeting spot to give to all the children in the Florida City community. The toys they receive on the day we go may be the only toy they get this year.
