2. Previous research of trailers showed that a reoccurring
convention was to show the movie name and other information
such as release dates at the end of the trailer, the text often has a
personalised font regarding the movie, for example Spiderman or
Harry Potter. Because of this we had to create our own images at
the end using Photoshop, as iMovie was unable to create this
within it’s own software.
3. Firstly, the film title had to be created. To enforce synergy across our
products, the same text and font size were used as seen in the poster
and magazine. This was simple to produce as a the title’s layer was taken
form our poster then placed on a black background.
The second image that had to be made showed release dates and also
producers information. The group had previously set up a twitter
account for JCDProductions, we decided to use this at the end of our
trailer as we had seen other trailers advertise social media sites as
different platforms media.
After finalising the two images they were easy to transfer to the end of
our trailer.
