• Is there anyone you know or have heard of
who you think is (or was) a superhero? What
makes (or made) this person heroic?

3. Genre
• What makes a film fit into the superhero genre?
• Why do you think superhero films are so popular?

4. Poster Analysis
• What information can you infer from the
poster that highlights the plot/genre.
In your analysis. Ensure you discuss the
following
• Colour
• Background
• Central Image and placement
• Other

5. Themes.
• Throughout the film different themes will be highlighted. Write short
hand notes each evening on what you learn about particular themes
such as:
• Relationships
• Grief/Loss
• Resilience
• Responsibility/Making good choices
