#1 Retail Services Mainframe Support (May 2013 to till date)
- This is a support and maintenance project. The objective of this project is to provide technical and
application support to work on the change management requests from business. Also provide
production support for any on-going ABENDS and issues. All change requests in this project are
developed using iGATE methodologies to provide sophisticated technical services. Also will develop
system requirement documents according to iGATE formats and guidelin es and develop high-level
specifications and designs. Ensures compatibility between iGATE-designed applications and UB’s
existing computer systems.
#2 Item Processing Platform Modernization (IPPM) project (January 2013 to May 2013)
- This is more a replica of DPM where the work requirement remains the same, Assembler to COBOL
migration and this came because of huge success of implementation of DPM

#3 Commercial Services (January 2012 to January 2013)
- Setting up of production jobs for the migration of certain jobs from FTP to SSH
- Support for the DPM project for issue fix in production and special testing
- Few complex Assembler programs have been converted to COBOL and code enhancement has done
for some client requirements.
#4 Deposit Platform Modernization (DPM) Project (March 2011 to January 2012)
- Union Bank of California has a need for the modernization of its Deposit platform which was the
conversion of simple, large and complex programs (Batch and Online) from ASSEMBLER to COBOL
Language. The primary objective of this work request is to analyze the Assembler codes and convert to
COBOL for better maintenance and simplicity.
SKILL SUMMARY IN UNDERWENT PROJECTS

Analysis & Design
- A clean and deep analysis of the existing Assembler language codes and its functionality
- Preparation of pseudo code for the Assembler and design documents for the COBOL codes
- Elimination of dead codes and thereby removing its functionality in the converted code.
Development
- Adhering to the client specifications and coding standards specified.
- Elimination or reduction of GOTO (s), use of 88 levels etc. in COBOL programs for better maintenance
- Use of pseudo code for reducing the complex loops
- Meaningful description and proper documentation for the converted code
Unit testing & Test results
- Detailed performance analysis by testing under real time data.
- Effectively communicating the test results and performance issues to the leads in a statistic ally
meaningful way.
