Accountabilities • Involved in requirement gathering from the customers based on the contract • Involved in detailing Software Design of all the Modules from the base framework CPM • Interacted with the BU team to solve the customer issues • Handled configuration management of all the configurable items related to project • Responsible for code review, deployment plan review, preparation of review logs and closure of review comments Project #5 Integrated Crane Management System Type Development Platform Windows XP Software VisualStudio2008, VC#, Oracle Employer ABB Client M/S TATA STEEL Role Team Member Description • CMS is a client server application where the respective services, running on the server, perform the following functions: o Data exchange with Level-1 System
  • 5. o Data storage/retrieve from/to the Relational Database • The operator can get a complete overview of the crane which is under his/her operation purview and of its control system functions, using a state-of-the-art and uniform human-system interface based on point-and-click dialogues. • An appropriate number of displays, presenting information, are associated with each function. The layout and content, as well as the allocated tasks are designed in order to show relevant information and govern the execution of the tasks in an optimal way. • CMS system communicates with Crane Level 1(Controller) System which provides the real time crane information Accountabilities • Involved in gathering Process Requirement from the customers based on the contract • Involved in detailing software design of all the modules from the base framework CPM • Interacted with the BU team to solve the customer issues • Handled configuration management of all the configurable items related to project • Responsible for code review, deployment plan review, preparation of review logs and closure of review comments Project #6 Hot Anealing And Pickling Line Type Development and Testing Platform ABB 800xA Software Control Builder M Professional (FBD, ST, SFC) Employer ABB Client M/S JINDAL STAINLESS STEEL LTD. Role Team Member, knowledge Representative Description • Establishing the complete setup of Automation system includes servers and clients of aspect (Redundant), connectivity (Redundant) and domain controller with ABB 800XA system(DCS). Complete set up of the Controllers (ABB AC800 PEC) and communication network for the entire Test Setup which includes TCP/IP for the controller to Connectivity server, Aspect server to client. Communication of the field devises through PROFIBUS communication. Setting up Modulebus (Optical) communication with the ABB Drives. • Line Control includes coil car auto sequences, threading sequences, tension control, accumulator position control, elongation control, scale breaker, cassette positioning control, and speed ref generation for the drives for four different sections (Entry, Mill, Process, and Exit Sections). Interfacing Level2 with level1. Set point management for line parameters. Tuning of line parameters for different thickness of coils ranging from 2mm to 10mm. Accountabilities • Involved in detailed Software Design and Documentation • Involved in development of the GUI for the Operator to see the Process Flow • Acted as a Knowledge Representative within the team REFERENCES: Available on request
