The document discusses plans for two 30-second advertisements to promote a school and sixth form. Each ad will cost £1000 of the £2000 total budget to ensure both are of high quality. Scenes will feature student testimonials and school results. The sixth form ad will target year 11 students and parents, while the school ad will target year 6 students and parents who make the enrollment decision. The ads aim to inform audiences about opportunities and successes at the school to appeal to students and parents' spending decisions. Recording will likely occur in-house to save costs versus professional studios.

Treatment
We will have two adverts that will both be 30 seconds long. The longer the adverts the more
they will cost as we only have £2000 to use to create both adverts so they both have to be
relatively short so that they can fit our budget.
They will be running for 30 seconds each as any longer and it would probably cost too much.
Scenes will include information about the schools previous exam results and will have Vox
pox of students giving their own opinions about the school and sixth form. And we will
probably be making our own soundtrack for both of the adverts.
The target audience for the sixth form advert will be solely aimed at year 11 students and
partly parents, more so the students as they have a bigger say in where they go to college
than they do choosing where they want to go to school. And the advert for the school will
be aimed at year 6 students but solely at parents as at the end of the day are the ones who
make that decision as the school has to be easily accessible for them as they will have to
sort out things like travel to and from school.
The product will appeal to our target audience as it will be informative and provide them
with all the facts that they need to know about the school and why they should go there.
Also it will include things like previous years grades, clubs available for the students and all
the positives of going to the sixth form and school. And the spending power of the students
will be very limited as it is unlikely that they will have jobs, whereas the parents will have
quite a bit of money to spend on things like transport and meals for their children.
Each advert will cost £1000 as we have a £2000 budget to spend so spreading the amount
evenly would be a good idea so that both of the adverts can be of the same standard.
The recording location of the radio advert is likely to be at school either in music or in the
Ringwood school radio studio as it would cost too much money to book a session at a studio
to record the advert and therefore it would be easier and cheaper to just record it at school.
