How Does Your Media Product
Represent Particular Social
Groups
Technical middle class - a small,
distinctive new class group.
Distinguished by its social isolation and
cultural apathy.
Front Cover
The 2 19 years old boys are there
to represent the technical middle
class because the straight faces
can show it as it links with the
sense that they do not care and are
unorthodox.
The clothing choices have been done
to show a relatable bond between the
models and someone just walking
about the streets.
The black and white colour scheme
has been done to show the
difference to others because, simple
coloured pictures could not have the
same effect.
Double Paged Spread
Still linking with the technical middle
class the shirt that the model is
wearing is still a casual choice and
not something that the audience
wouldn’t not be able to afford
themselves.
The black and white affect is still being
used to link with the front cover showing
that this magazine is different to others
and can be linked with the middle class
who don’t care if they are different.
Within this photo the 19 year old
model is still showing the attitude
that I want to come across to any
readers saying that he does not
care how he looks and almost
giving a stubborn look to the
audience.
Contents Page
The clothing choice again has been
aimed for a casual approach towards it
as it a simple jacket and jumper
representing the casual look of the
two models.
The colour scheme has been
kept the same throughout the
magazine with the yellow, black
and red as they contrast against
the black and white.
