This document analyzes three magazines targeted at different youth audiences. Magazine 1 targets females aged 14-20 and focuses on fashion brands and social media. Magazine 2 targets boys aged 14-25 who enjoy skateboarding and extreme sports. It promotes skating tricks and streetwear brands. Magazine 3 targets gamers aged 14-18 and highlights the latest games, equipment, and YouTube personalities. It uses graphics and advertising to attract its target audience.

This target audience is mostly towards females
aged 14-20. Would fit into the Youth tribe of
‘stylers’ because they would like to look up
towards their inspiration model and to wear the
latest clothes and brand fashion. Into brands
like Hollister, Superdry and other well known
brands. Would be avoiding clothes brands
which are known as ‘cheap’ like Primark or
others. The class of this magazine would be in
the middle class [C1 and C2]. A sense of being
the one who stands out to the public. To have a
range of styles and clothes. In addition being
the best out of others in weigh, size and others.
Would always use social networks, such as
Instagram, Facebook to share their unique
fashion and to create and start the new trend.

3. MAGAZINE 2
This magazine auditions is targeted mainly at
young boys, aged 14 to 25. I imagine skaters to
be in the middle classes [C1 and C2]. People that
spend most of there time predominantly outside
with friends creating a variety of media to
produce a media to others. Interested into
extreme urban sports and skateboarding
whenever it’s possible. They’re categorised into
the skater youth tribe. To experience and gain
new styles and tricks from their own creativity.
They’re likely into alternative music taste, to live
the dream. The clothing would be very stylish
with brand wears on DC, Vans and other skating
companies. To succeed more each time in style
to push there limits to the extreme to show
there peers and fans how decent they’re. Using
social networks to enter competitions and to use
the fastest opinion to complete there work. Into
YouTube and editing software's to become a
inspiration to others.
4. The masthead is ‘teen
vogue’ which is in a
popular colour, red and
pink suggesting that it
would typically attract
young girls aged 15 -20.

‘vogue’ is more formal
