The characters
There are three characters in uncharted 4 that the player can
control. The rest of the characters are NPCs that either give out
information on the mission or side quests to give you an extra XP
boost. These characters are sorted into two groups, playable
characters which are characters you can play and the other
group is non-playable characters, these characters are called
NPCs. The NPCs are characters that cannot be controlled by the
player.

Feed back interface
Uncharted 4 a thief's end uses a feedback
interface which vibrates the controller when an
action is made, for example if you shot a gun or
crash a car. The most common feedback device
for feedback is called a ”rumble pack”.
Perspective
The perspective that uncharted 4 have used is
3D, this means its moving within a 3
dimensional axis. Uncharted 4 uses a third
person perspective, this means you can look at
your character.
Cut Scenes
There are cut scenes also know as full motion
video that are non-interactive videos within
games. Cut scenes often tell the story by using
this method as it keeps the player focused on
the screen.
Avatar
An avatar is the graphical representation of the user or
the users alter ego or character. An icon or figure
representing a partiular person in a video game. It may
take a three dimensional form, as in games or virtual
world. The term avatar can also refer to the personality
connected with the screen name or handle of an
internet user.
Avatar
Game type
Uncharted 4 a thief's end is a single-player video game
this means that the video game will only input from
only one player throughout the course of the gaming
session. A single-player game is usually a game that can
only be played by one person.
Narrative
The narrative of the game is very well laid out as
everything is understandable. It starts off with a
boat chase to a mountain with your brother on
board, you then have to defend yourself. When
you get close to the mountain you have a
flashback of when you were a child. This sets the
game off wanting to know more about the
characters and their struggles.
Game setting
The game is set in present time as its established at the start the
game. The Uncharted 4 also gives you the location of their
travels so that it makes it more immersive as you will recognize
the places the characters are going. However sometimes the
setting is different as they add unique structures to keep the
game interesting.
Player goals
Nathan Drake has presumably left the world of fortune hunting
behind. However, it doesn’t take long for adventure to come
calling when Drake’s brother, Sam, resurfaces seeking his help to
save his own life and offering an adventure Drake can’t resist.
Therefore the goal of the game is to collect and item to save your
brothers life.
Rewards
When you obtain the item to save your brother in the
game uncharted 4, you are rewarded trophies, that give
you points to your profile. You also unlock weapons for
the multiplayer mode, on completion of the story. Once
the complete the story you are rewarded with cheats to
make the campaign more fun.
Rules
One of the rules of the game is to not kill any
team mates on your side as this will respawn
you back to your last checkpoint. Another rule in
the game is to not mod on multiplayer as this
will get you banned from the multiplayer sever.
Another rule is you have to kill the enemies, If
you don’t do this you will wont be able to
progress through the story.
Difficulty settings
In video gaming, "difficulty" often does not refer to
how difficult a game is in general, but rather to a
setting of the game, often chosen by the player in the
menu or at the beginning of the game. Sometimes, the
difficulty is set for the entirety of the game, sometimes
it can be changed during the game. However uncharted
4 a thief's end doesn't have a difficulty as they wanted
everyone to play on the same setting.
Winning
Uncharted has a multiplayer mode where defeating the enemy
will reward a points, the more points you get the higher up the
leader board you are. At the end on the multiplayer match if you
scored the highest your character will appear in front of every
one else who played in the multiplayer sever.
Balance
To make the multiplayer experience better the game developers
of uncharted 4 will make sure that aspects of the games will be
balanced. This is done by a programmer or programmers that
adjust the aspects of the game to ensure that nothing can be
exploited, this may include weapons/ perks/abilities, therefore
they wont gain an unfair advantage to other players.
Gaming Addiction
Video game addiction (VGA) is a hypothetical
behavioral addiction characterized by excessive or
compulsive use of computer games or video games,
which interferes with a person's everyday life.[1] Video
game addiction may present itself as compulsive
gaming, social isolation, mood swings, diminished
imagination, and hyper-focus on in-game
achievements, to the exclusion of other events in life.
Photo-Realism
Uncharted 4 a thief's end uses photo realism,
This means the graphics reflect the real world.
This makes the game more appealing as its
beautiful to look at and play. It also makes the
game more immersive.
Concept art
Concept art is a form of illustration used to
convey an idea for use in films, video games,
animation, comic books, or other media before
it is put into the final product.
Background graphics
Background graphics are used to populate the
game world with scenery and backgrounds.
They do this to make the game world feel and
look more real. They also do this to show what
the environment looks like.

Audio
The music they use throughout uncharted 4 is
immersive and each different sound track suits the
situation your in. The sound effects are crystal clear
for example the sound is very well detailed, for
example the crunch on walking on freshly fallen
snow or the squelch of walking in a thick wet pile of
mud. The voice acting is superb as they sound as if
any person would sound like in the character
situation. The mood of the game feels like an
adventure as if your with Nathan drake battling
through waves of enemies.
Graphics comparison
Uncharted 4 is similar to last of us as the graphics are virtually
the same as each other. Uncharted as other games in its
franchise for example Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Uncharted 2:
Among Thieves, Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception and uncharted
4 a thief's end. Watch dogs 2 came out at the same time
uncharted 4 came out, they also have similar graphics to each
other.
Game engine
Uncharted 4 a thief's end runs on an engine
called “Naughty dog”, it is not accessible to
people of the public and is kept secret from all
of us.
Console exclusive
Uncharted 4 a thief's end is only available of the
PlayStation platform as its an exclusive.
Therefore it wont be available on the pc or Xbox
platforms.
Genre
Uncharted 4 is well known in the adventure
genre as there's nothing like uncharted 4 on the
market so far. Therefore it’s a niche in the
market, resulting in no competitors to go
against. This will also result in a large and loyal
fan base to the uncharted franchise. The
gameplay is also unique as it uses third person
perspective to fight.
