• Map out and design an assessment using the IPA template.

Steps to Designing a Standard Based
Lesson.
• Authentic, performance based, based on three modes of
communication, integrated.
• The cyclical approach of performance assessment units are:
– Interpretative Communication phase
– Interpersonal Communication phase and
– Presentational Communication phase. (see pg. 7 for a detail description)
