 The promotion of products or brand via one or more forms of
electronic media. For example, advertising mediums that might be
used as a part of the Digital Marketing strategy of business could
include promotional efforts made via internet, social media, mobile
phones as well as via digital television & radio channels.

strategies. These strategies work together in
order to drive relevant traffic to a
business(either online or off) & then convert
a one time visitor into a returning , loyal
customer.

 It is rapidly growing to be one of the most popular strategy. The most
popular social sites include Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google,
YouTube. This allow audience to engage with company or brand.

 It has literally never been easier to promote
a product, service or brand online. There
are a lot of possibilities when it comes to
incorporating digital advertising into the
campaign. Google AdWords uses keywords
research & data to create ads which can be
textual, banners or image based.

 In a broader sense, the internet is the heart of DM. The internet offers
several applications such as web, email, IM, RSS, video which can be
leveraged by marketers to launch campaigns.

 These are just a few of the tools that are available to build a successful
digital marketing campaign must also be uniquely designed to reach a
specific target audience with business message. Digital marketing can
really work & is beneficial for today’s growing business.

Advantages of DM
 Advertisement on internet is cheaper than print advertisement.
 Increase ability to measure & collect data.
 It also helps in updating the subscribers through a fast mode of e-mail.

Disadvantages of DM
 Slow internet connections can cause difficulties. If
the companies build too complex or too large
websites, it will take too long for users to check
them or download them.
 One of the major disadvantage may be lack of trust
of users because of constant virtual promotions that
appear to be frauds.
