NOTICES FOR THE WEEK
1. Monthly Prayer Service for the month of July will be held on coming Saturday 22nd July after the evening mass.

2. The Family Cell ofour parish is organizing DIL MIL Gaye, a programme for married people on Sunday 23rd July
2017, from 6.45 pm to 8 pm. Charges per head are Rs 25/- only. This programme is notonly for couples but for
all married people, young and old and especially for fathers and mothers-in-law and sons and daughters-in-law.
Kindly register in the parish office or with Fr Henry. Last date of registration is 20th July. You may also register
with the Family Cell volunteers in the parish compound.
3. Bible Quest 22 in the book of 1 kings chapters 1 to 10 will be held on coming Sunday, 23rd July. Interested
parishioners enlist your names with your PPC members. PPC members please enlist the nos participating
online with before coming Wednesday.
4. Good Parenting program, especially for parents of the FHC and Confirmands will be held on Sunday 30th July
2017 after the 8.15 am mass in the A V Hall. Other parents may also attend the same
5. Parent’s Day will be celebrated on Sunday, 30th July 2017. At the 8.15 am mass, there will be a special blessing
for all the parents. In the evening after 5.30 pm mass, an entertainment programme will be held for the parents.

form is 23rd July.
6. The quarterly meeting ofthe Eucharist Ministers will be held on the following Sunday, 30th August after 9.30 am
mass
7. This year 6 Eco Kids groups are active. They are SCCs 4, 7, 9, 10, 14, 18. While congratulating these kids and
animators of these SCCs, it is also important to reach out to more and more children to bring environmental
awareness in keeping with the teaching of Pope Francis. To encourage the formation of more ECO KIDS
CLUBS, there will be a contest called BEST ANIMATOR AND BEST ECO KIDS CONTEST. There will be cash
prizes and certificates for the best animators and best groups. This year onwards, any individual can take
initiative to start an ECO KIDS group, including a housing society, private tuitions teachers, or any individual
animator or parishioner. The entry form for the BEST ECO KIDS CONTEST is available with Fr Felix. Last date
to return your entry is 31st July..
8. As you know our school is celebrating the golden Jubilee this year. As a preparation for this important
milestone, our school has been organising various activities which will culminate with a grand finale on
Saturday, 2nd December presided over by His eminence Cardinal Oswald Gracias. Since it is a major occasion
of our school, it may cost a good amount of money to organise this event and other related activities. In this
regard, the school has decided to take out a souvenir and invite sponsors for the various competitions and
other activities. As most of our parish youngsters of all faiths have benefited from the high quality education
imparted by Infant Jesus high school, itis also our duty to show our gratitude to the school by giving something
back to the school. The souvenir ad forms are available outside the church with PTA member Albert Naguera.
Encouraging all, especially ex-students of our school to collect the form and bring ads.
9. Archdiocesan Bible cell will be conducting a shortterm Bible course which will be held only on public holidays.
You are encouraged to attend this course. See poster for further details.
10. Also there will be a 3 hour seminar for parish bible cell members on Saturday, 12th August from 5 to 8 pm at
Our Lady’s Home, Dadar. It is compulsory for 1 member from each SCC to attend this short seminar. In case
you want a company to attend 2 members ofsame SCC can enlist. Send you names online to Fr Felix at your
earliest.

12. Parish visitation by Frs. and sisters on coming Wednesday 19th July SCC 1 Apna Ghar from 7.15 pm to 9.30
pm. Your PPC member will inform you about the same.
13. (9.15 mass only) Today’s liturgy is animated by SCC 4. Coming Sunday liturgy will be SCC 5.
