1. TWENTYFOURTH SUNDAY OF THE YEAR (17-9-2017)
NOTICES FOR THE WEEK
1. Today/tomorrow,17th September, Sunday school will be held as usual.
2. The Bible Quest 24 in the book of 1 Kings chapters 11 to 20 will be held on coming Sunday, 24th
September. Parishioners please enlist your names with your PPC members. PPC members please
enlist the nos online with Fr Felix before coming Wednesday, 20th Sep.
3. The box for your donations for the training of seminarian will remain on the altar till the end of this
month. You may continue to drop your donations in the box, or if bigger amount in cash or cheques,
you may get in touch with any of the parish fathers.
4. PPC members please note – So far only one SCC has sent the names for the forthcoming training
programmes announced earlier. If the names are not received before today/tomorrow, parish priest will
select the names. Details are already sent on WhatsApp.
5. Bombay archdiocesan senior citizens assn is organising World Elders day on 1st October at St
Anthonio D’Silva High School, Dadar. The programme includes Mass. The charges to defray the cost
including supper is Rs 250/-. Interested Sr Citizens, please enlist your names in the parish office. For
further details see the letter of Fr Aniceto Pereira on the notice board.
6. There are many central and state govt schemes for minorities. Many people are not aware of these
schemes. If any of our parishioners know how to apply for these schemes, please meet any of the
parish fathers and explain. We can promote these schemes to our parishioners.
7. Those who have collected your souvenir forms for advertisement of our school golden jubilee souvenir,
please return the forms with your ad charges and ad matter latest by October end.
8. (9.15 mass only) Today’s liturgy is animated by SCC 12. Coming Sunday liturgy will be SCC 13.
9. Last Sunday collections amounted to Rs _____________. Thank you for your generosity.
10. Priests and sisters family visitation on coming Wednesday, 20th September will be SCC 10. Your PPC
members will give you further details.
11. The SCC meetings for this week are as follows: today 17th Sep Sunday SCC 6; tomorrow 18th Sep.
Monday – SCC 5 and 16, 21st Sep. Thursday SCC 9.
