2. The day is not tàr offwhen we alone will be the bearers of Holocaust memory and it will
be up to us to ensure that the world learns the lessons it so urgently needs.
The Holocaust teaches us that the capaci§ for inhumanity always resides within us-{hat
we must always be vigilant, always on guard against the fïrst sign of hate.
And it teaches us, with equal power, that each of us doqs have the capacity-and with it,
the responsibility-to nrake a difference in the face of,hatred.
trVill you help us teach those lessons? Can we count on you in the coming year-at this
crucial juncture in the history of Holocaust remembrance, this turning point when the eyewitness
generation is diminishing and hate and denial are on the rise?
I hope so. Please-without delaying even a moment longer-send your generous renewal
gift to the Museum today.
ThffË;iÏËseïàËéàoàielgreat, and we need you with us. Thank you so rriiiCh for'your--
continued commitment to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
