2. Objectives and Methods
• help the project gain insight into the
motivations that influence farmers’
adoption of practices and the
existing barriers that may limit their
ability to embrace such practices….
• help improve our understanding
about the kinds of strategies needed
to help encourage farmers to use
biodiversity enhancing practices,
support farmers’ implementation of
practices, and mitigate any
limitations they may be challenged
with, or which cause
discouragement.
• The generalization of the results,
however, is limited by the non-
representativeness of the farmer
respondents.
