 Planning plays an important role in every field.
 In physical education and sports it also plays a vital role.
 It also plays a significant role in harmonious development
of an individual.
 In physical education and sports we need a specific ,
effective planning to get the desired goal.
 Through planning we can achieve unachievable things.
 With proper planning we get the maximum benefits from
the programme.

the activities required to achieve a desired goal.

Overall we can say that planning is an intellectual process of thinking in
advance about setting of goal and developing strategies which is required
to attain the goal efficiently.

7.  In the field of sports there are planning as per the
requirement, there can be short term planning which
can be of a few months or there can be planning for
long durations which are known as long term
planning like planning for Olympics games.
 Planning's can be for training purpose or also can be
for organizing tournament.
 Planning's are necessary for the optimum
performance.

 PUBLICITY COMMITTES:-
This committee is responsible for informing others the date, venue and other details
through media and multimedia, in short to advertise. The main aim associated is to
gather much population and to provide relevant information to the concern.
 TRANSPORT COMMITEE:
This committee is responsible for providing the facilities regarding
transportation of various teams to the venue of events , or to the place of
boarding and lodging.
 BOARDING AND LODGING COMMITTEE:
Responsible for making arrangement for accommodation and serving meals to the
sportspersons and to the officials.
 DECORATION COMMITTEE
This committee is responsible for all decorations during the entire event, i.e.- it will
be during opening, victory ceremony and closing ceremony.

 GROUND AND EQUIPMENT COMMITTES:-
This committee take cares of all grounds and maintain them for the events also take care of the
equipment required.
 REFRESHMENT COMMITTES:-
This committee take care of refreshment of guest ,officials and of participants .
 RECEPTION COMMITTES:-
This committee is responsible for the welcoming of guests at opening and closing ceremonies
 COMMITTEE ON ENTRIES AND PROGRAMMES:
This committee sends the invitation and entry forms also receive the entry with conformation, along with this
committee also fix the number of participants so that other arrangement should be done on time . This
committee also take care of fixtures.
 COMMITTEE FOR OFFICIALS:-
This committee take charge for the selection of officials i.e. referees, judges, recorder, clerks, Marshalls,
starter etc. as per requirements and qualifications.
 ANNOUNCEMENT COMMITTEE:-
During the sports events this committee solely responsible for the announcements ,also this committee
announces the winner, results and also help in informing/ announcing the event, matches and time of events.
 FIRST AID COMMITTEE:-
the most important committee of the tournament , which is headed by a doctor with nursing staff along with
some other staff with all necessary equipment required in first-aid , so if any casualty happens it can be
treated without delay
