the world, as there is a very large
number of people play football
at different levels.
Mor-Christian General Soccer Ability
Skill Test was developed by Mor &
Christian in 1979.
Tested on 45-male college students
and they were divided into 3-groups.

recommending assessment through
three types of field tests –
(a) Mor-Christian Soccer Dribbling Test
(b) Mor-Christian Soccer Shooting Test
(c) Mor-Christian Soccer Passing Test
5. 1. Validity:
The protocol resembles the performance that is being
simulated as closely as possible.
2. Reliability:
The protocol provides a similar result from day to day when
no intervention is used.

8. Facilities :
The Soccer goal is divided into two
scoring areas by two ropes
suspended from the crossbar 4 feet
from each goal post.
Each scoring area is divided into two
circular targets by two circular
hoops 4 feet in diameter.
A line is drawn 16 yards from the
designed target area and parallel to it.
9. Procedure :
The player shoots a stationary ball with
the preferred foot from 16- yard line.
The Player may place the ball at any
point along the line.
Four practice trials are given and then
four consecutive balls are attempted at
each of the four target areas.
There is a total of 16 trials.
10. Scoring :
When aiming toward the upper right target, the subject receives
a score of 10 points each time the ball is shot throughout the
upper target ;a score of 4 points is scored if the ball is shot
throughout the lower right target when aiming at the upper right
target.
The scoring procedure is identical when the player is aiming at
the lower target, 10 points for lower and 4 for upper.
The target on left side are scored the same way.
Balls that rebound from the circular targets are considered as
successful trials.
No points are given for balls that rolls or bounce though the
target area.
11. Facilities :
A small goal marked 1 yard in width
and 18 inches in height is
constructed by utilizing two plastic
cones as goal posts and a 4 foot
rope as the crossbar.
Three plastic cones located 15
yards from the goal line are placed at
angles of 90°.
12. Procedure :
Students pass a stationary ball with
their preferred foot into the small goal
from the three angles marked by the
cones.
Four trials are taken from each angle
for a total of 12 trials .Two practice
trial from each angle are allowed.
13. Scoring :
A score of one point is given for
each successful pass.
Balls that rebound from the goal post
( plastic cones) are considered
successful trials.
The score is total of the 12 trials.
