2. The software we used to create our review was InDesign. This was the first time I had
ever used InDesign but with help I managed to get a grip on the basics of it. The first
step was to add guidelines to the blank document so that I knew the structure and the
spacing of the review.
3. My next step was to add the actual review. I had already written the review so all I had
to do was copy and paste. I then had to justify the text as this is very common in
magazines. Unfortunately when I did this, many words were hyphenated and it took a
bit of clever editing and rewriting of the text so that there would be no hyphens.
4. For the picture, I needed an image that wouldn’t give away too much of the film and
that would interest the viewer. I decided the image from my poster was an excellent
choice.
5. There was a small bit of blank space. I decided I would add small little details which
give a small hint of the story. For this I chose mailing stamps as it was relevant to the
story and it complimented the look of the review.
