QUESTION 4
Who would be the audience for your media product?
• Our media product has been certified at 12A, this means
that no one younger than 12 may see the film unless
accompanied by an adult. The reason we decided to
make our film a 12A is because it is a teen comedy and it
does not have any scenes in it which would make it a
higher age certificate.
• Our main audience will be a group of boys who enjoy to
go out to parties and have fun nights, they will be the ideal
audience to relate to this. My group and I created a target
audience diagram on our blogs. We created this so we
can pin point exactly who we wanted our audience to be.
Some examples of what we included were, boys who like
to play football also being a fan of playing Playstation.
• Our film will mostly attract a male audience as the main
narrative is male driven so I think that this film will mostly
be watched by a male audience as there are no big roles
played by girls in the narrative. Also the group of male
friends will attract the male audience because they will
like to see elements of their friendship in the film.

  • 2. • Our media product has been certified at 12A, this means that no one younger than 12 may see the film unless accompanied by an adult. The reason we decided to make our film a 12A is because it is a teen comedy and it does not have any scenes in it which would make it a higher age certificate.
  • 3. • Our main audience will be a group of boys who enjoy to go out to parties and have fun nights, they will be the ideal audience to relate to this. My group and I created a target audience diagram on our blogs. We created this so we can pin point exactly who we wanted our audience to be. Some examples of what we included were, boys who like to play football also being a fan of playing Playstation.
  • 4. • Our film will mostly attract a male audience as the main narrative is male driven so I think that this film will mostly be watched by a male audience as there are no big roles played by girls in the narrative. Also the group of male friends will attract the male audience because they will like to see elements of their friendship in the film.
