2. On the magazine advert and the
album cover there is a recurring
main image which shows Adele
looking towards the ground rather
then the camera. This creates
meaning because it shows that she
is vulnerable as she doesn’t
acknowledge the camera which
makes the audience seem like they
are watching her without her
knowing. This links to the content
of the album and her star
construction as she is known for
her heart felt love songs that a
wide range of females can relate
to.
There is a direct link between the
digipak and the advert as the same
stylistic conventions are
showcased between the two media
texts. For example, the black and
white theme throughout them
both is evident which gives it a
prestigious feeling to them. The
main image of the star herself is
every similar as she does similar
poses on them both. The digipak
is shown on the advert so the
audience can identify them.
It tells the audience about her
previous success as they point out
that she has won two Grammy's
and they point out a popular song
that features on the album.
