➢The first Tram to have a library was opened in Kolkata, India.

Opportunities in General
➢ Users are now able to access the library services from the comfort of their places.
➢ Users are asking all the Contents in Machine-Readable Form, including scanned
images of the Printed Book Pages.
➢ Users are expecting all the Queries Answered Online. So, there is a change in user
requirements from the library.
➢ There is an Improvement in ICT Infrastructure and Knowledgebase.
➢ Investments in Online Education, Online Meetings/Enhanced IT and Apps
Knowledge.
➢ Recognition and Acknowledgements due to measurable work using online tools.
➢ Restricted movement – save fuel, better environment.
➢ Improvement in Medical Infrastructure.
➢ More family time and understanding.
➢ So, overall, we are now trying to build a better NEW NORMAL or NEXT NORMAL of
21st Century by facilitating access and providing services to our users in the best
possible ways.
