2. OVERVIEW
All my key characters will be wearing mostly black or dark clothing this is
because they’ll be committing crimes and obviously need to be difficult to
see. I want them to be in notably different clothes when in the in house
scenes. This will show I clear difference in the type of people they become as
the film goes on.
At the start of the film they will be wearing more casual clothes like blue
jeans and lighter colours, this is too show a visual different to the audience.
With the story having the friends ditch kind of narrative its important that all
the people that didn’t go through with the crimes were definitely wearing
lighter clothes, to show they aren’t bad people at all.
4. Costumes
James: This character is wearing a jumper and jeans (all black). In scene 2 I will
make sure that he wears darker clothes then Joshua, Bradley and Jamie.
Scene 6: James will be wearing a white top with black jeans and a black long
sleeve under his white shirt, this is also trying to show his true colours as he
eventfully becomes the “bad guy”.
Samuel: This character is also wearing mostly black to stay camouflage when
wandering around in the dark. In scene 2 Samuel is also wearing darker clothes
hen the others ,apart from James, to yet again show that these two are the real
criminals of the group.
Scene 6: Samuel is wearing a very colourful top here to show a big difference
between the two characters
5. Costumes
I have spoken to my cast and they all have roughly the clothes I want and if
they don’t I will have some clothes that they can use, as I have black jeans
and a few black jumpers.
