2. Lighting
The lighting at the start of the scene is very dark
but with a orange glow around the girl and the
cake. This is because Sarah’s wish was to see
birthday party however we are still unsure what
has happened. This also makes it look like she is
ok because she is making a wish.
After this there is green lighting to give us the
impression there is something dark going to
happen.

3. Location
The start of the scene takes place in a room
which we have to presume is at Sarah’s
daughters birthday. The second part is in a
hospital which makes us immediately think
something bad has happened.

4. Costume and Props
The props in this clip are the birthday cake at the start which signifies her birthday
wish and gives us the thought she is ok.
In the second part the heart monitor indicates that something is wrong however we
can clearly see that she is definitely alive but we can clearly see something is wrong at
the same time.
