Evaluation
I thought the original idea for my preliminary task could be fairly humorous to
some people as it comes across as very weird and it is nothing like whata
“normal” interrogation would be like in real life. For example in an
interrogation the suspectand interrogator are sat oppositeeach other at a
table, whereas in my interrogation scene the suspectand interrogator are sat
on the floor. Also, in a normal interrogation the interrogator would be dressed
up in uniformand would be acting very stern and serious, however in mine the
interrogator is dressed in a very odd way and comes across as somebody that
takes nothing seriously.
Once I had filmed and edited my interrogation scene and looked back at it, my
film really was not as funny or to the standard that I expected it to be. For
example when I looked back at the film the camera was very shaky and
sometimes not in focus. To improvethis for next time, when I film I will need
to use a tripod for the camera so that the movements are much more
controlled and less shaky. I will also set the cameras focus to automatic so that
it makes surethat it is always focused to the subject/s.
I also felt like the colour of my film was very dull and boring. I think this was
because of the fact that the location of which I was filming my interrogation
scene was all ambient lighting and the weather on the day that I filmed was
very grey and raining. When I was editing my film it took me a while to edit it
as there were a lot of people using the same programas me at the sametime
which lead to the programrunning very slowly, this lead to me getting quite
frustrated with the programand it meant that I rushed the editing in order to
get it done as quickly as possible. To preventthis fromhappening next time I
will be downloading the programonto my own computer at home so that it
runs smoothly and there are no problems with it, this will mean that I can take
my time with editing my work and allowing me to complete it to the best of my
ability.
