3. INTRODUCTION
This presentation is related to
women in Pakistan.
How they face injustice, restriction
and sexual harassment etc. in the
society.
This presentation almost covers the
negative aspects and other things
that women have to face in the
society.
Another face of this presentation is
how we can evaluate these problems
Because if women are given equal
and rights, which will be fruitful for
our country to establish a better
economical and better living country
5. EARLY MARRIGES
Early and child marriage are directly attributable to deep-
rooted gender inequalities, traditional practices, and custom.
The conceptualization of the girl child as ‘other’s property’ who has to
eventually move to her husband’s home prevents parents from
investing in their daughter’s education and daughters thus are married
off at an early age to relieve parents of their ‘burden'.
The trend of child marriages has been a major cause of girls' illiteracy
or lower level of education. It can also damage the girl’s physical,
mental and social health
6. DOMESTIC VIOLENCE:
Domestic violence (DV) is a global public health problem of epidemic proportions and
has resulted in a call for “urgent action”, by the World Health Organization.
. According to a study carried out in 2009.It is estimated that between 70 and 90
percent of women in Pakistan have suffered some form of abuse.
An estimated 5000 women are killed per year from domestic violence, with thousands
of others maimed or disabled
7. SEXUAL HARASMENT
• In Offices:
• requests for sexual favors or other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature that
interferes with work.
• In public transport
• In cities, a majority of women are attached to some profession to support their family.
For this purpose, they have to move around the city by using public transport
• The nuisance for them is caused by foul mouthed drivers who with their vulgar
and blatant and brazen stares make travelling for women a painful experience.
8. GENDER DISCRIMINATION
• Our society is male dominant society were male dominate in every aspect of life where
as women are given less opportunities to perform various task.
• Discrimination represents a significant social problem in Pakistan as well as throughout
the world. Girls face discrimination everywhere in the world.
• They often receive less food than boys do, have less entrée to schooling and work long
hours.
9. EDUCATION RESTRICTION ON WOMEN IN
RURAL AREAS:
• When we talk about the education system, it reflects the inequality found outside the
classroom.
• In some cases, where a decision has to be made about which children to send to
school, it is commonly seen that parents decide to invest in their sons’ education
rather than their daughters’
11. To evaluate above problems we
have a solution that every area
has a women representor.
who send their problem to
district council.
A proper system should be
install in order to provide equal
opportunities to women.
A law should be passed that,
women will be given equal
opportunities and their rights.
