2. Location Shots:
We want to have a continuous
theme of confinement juxtaposed
against freedom. To illustrate of
confinement , we are planning to
film with the artist performing
around different types of bars.
3. Props and
Costumes
The actors will need to be
dressed in a certain way
throughout the video. We
will provide the actors with t-
shirts but the rest of the
costumes will need to be
provided by the actors .
T-shirts:
A common convention of Giggs
videos is that he and his label
member of ten where t-shirts
branding the music labels logo or
sayings coined by the group.
We will be making our own logo t-
shirts for the actor to wear in
different scenes.
For the daylight scenes it would
be preferable for the actor to be
wearing a white t-shirt and for the
night scenes for the actor to be
wearing black.
For actress playing the
ex-girlfriend we will need
a baby bottle to clearly
indicate what her role is.
Artists of the grime genre always wear
popular urban clothing brands such as
Nike, Adidas and Vans, as well as some
high end labels such as Ralph Lauren
and Prada. If the actor has these logos
to hand then it would be important to
include them in the video.
Other props will be to
indicate wealth. For example
the latest phones and
expensive jewellery. We can
buy dummy phones to pose
with and the actors will be
wearing their own jewellery.
