The responses to the film synopsis provided varied feedback. While some commented that no changes were needed, most felt that including a lead up to how the main character "got this way" and adding a plot twist would strengthen the story and better fit the horror genre. The overall feedback on the original synopsis idea was positive, praising the relatability and originality of the concept.
2. The Shining Woman In Black Saw
Mirrors The Uninvited Let Me In Sinister
Hills Have Eyes What is your favourite horror
Paranormal Activity Shrooms
I Spit On Your Grave
movie and why? The Orphanage
I have found that most people consider a psychological horror
such as The Uninvited or The Shining their favorite type of
movie because they like a film with a twist. However I also
found that the Paranormal Activity series came up as a popular
answer. My audience said that because its in the home it will
come across as more realistic. Also that people watch horrors
at home quite often which means it will scare them as they are
watching in a similar setting.
3. What do you think of the synopsis
of my film?
The overall feedback for my synopsis idea was good. One
of the comments were "sounds epic! I would HAVE to see
it". Feedback also concluded that my idea was very
relatable and would be portrayed well in a film. Originality
was also commented on a lot due to the fact that not many
films are related to the subject matter of the seven deadly
sins in the message/style I'm trying to get across.
4. If you were to change one thing about
my synopsis what would it be?
My feedback for this question had a wide range of
answers. Some comments told me to make no
changes whilst others said it was over thought
and needed more soul. However the most
popular answer was that I needed to do a lead up
into how she got this way. Also it was suggested
that I included a plot twist to make it fit into the
genre better.
