The document summarizes geological logs and water data from the Eileen Bore well drilled in 1961 in Namibia's Gemsbok Park as part of an exploration program for deep aquifers. The 381m deep Eileen Bore intercepted a whitish sandstone aquifer under pressure but yielded saline water unsuitable for consumption with a high total dissolved solids content of approximately 7500mg/l. While the bores provided low yields between 1.5 to 3 liters per second, some continued to be used for supplying game with their mineral requirements despite the poor water quality. Data for the exploration program was sourced from various Namibian government departments and research institutions.
