the monsters eye
 Handheld: the feel of terror panic
and of the unknown.
 There are extreme close ups of the
victims
 A mix of high and low angles
showing dominance and power or
innocence and inferiority.
 Diagetic and non diagetic sound are
used like footsteps or screams.

 Horror films are filmed in dark
lonley places that have a bad vibe
about them, like abandoned houses,
the woods, houses in the country
side, narrow alleyways, mental
heath hospitals etc.
 Isolated towns, churches or old
buildings

 The antagonist usually either uses
stabing items, sharp objects or
sometimes nothing at all
 The victims will use weapons
including guns to try and save
themselves although it doesnt
normally help them.
 The victims deaths are normally
slow painfull and traumatic
