2. Analyze Learners:
General Characteristics: 12TH Grade Students (20 students: 12 males, 8
females, 15 Caucasians, 4 African-Americans, and 1 Asian) (Majority from
Middle-class and some from lower-class)
Specific entry competencies: Student have basic knowledge of the U.S.
Government from previous history classes, basic knowledge of the Microsoft
Office applications, and how to use the internet.
Learning Style: Majority are visual and auditory learners, while some people
are hands on learners, none are learning disabled.
3. Main Objectives:
Learning outcomes: The main objective is that by the end of the week, the
students will demonstrate that they understand the three branches of government
(but specifically their assigned branch) by making a post, a robot, and presenting a
PowerPoint Presentation from their WebQuest
Audience: 12TH Grade Students (20 students: 12 males, 8 females, 15 Caucasians, 4
African-Americans, and 1 Asian) (Majority from Middle-class and some from lower-
class)
Behavior: By the end of the week, the students will have demonstrated that they
can accurately describe and list the functions and roles of the three branches of
government.
Conditions of performance: They will learn how to do these tasks through youtube
tutorials and my lectures.
Degree of acceptable performance: To receive an A on the Project, they will need
to cumulate 150 out of 165 points.

Wednesday: Build robots
Thursday: Design Poster using PowerPoint and Photoshop
Friday: Groups will present final projects
