1. The main evidence of continental drift is shown
to us in fossil samples . It was found that there
were the same fossil samples on different
continents such as Africa and South America this
proves that at one point they were on the same
continent .
Another example is that scientists found the same
vegetation samples on different continents such as Europe
and Asia
this also proves that at one point they were on the same
continent.

2.  Reptiles and amphibians
 There were many different types of reptiles
on Pangea many of these were reptile fossils.
 Different fossils have been found on
completely different continents mammal
fossils were found on Africa these were called
antiphibians these were semi aquatic
mammals a bit like platipus the same
mammals were then found on the coast of
south America this proved they were once on
the same continent.

3. Aproximately 300 million years ago
earth was all one continent this was
called Pangea it was the first
formation of earths surface. Over the
course of Earths history there have
been three main super continents.
