Software Description Spanish students of two colleges form teams and learn from each other writing together in a Pingpong style short stories in the past forms. The teams do meet each other on a Windows Live Events where they find rooms to write their stories, to present themselves, to read the stories of their colleagues, to propose titles and it’s also the place where they get all the information to the project. The Highlight is a real meeting of all the participants. There they will fight in a real Pingpong game for the Historia Pingpong 2008 nomination. This project can be used with other foreign languages. Assessment and Standards <ul><li>Click the document below to see the assessment rubrics and standards covered in this learning project: </li></ul><ul><li>Assessment Rubrics: in this project the motivation for computer work gets linked with the motivation for Spanish. The students like working with Window Live Tools, and by doing that they work with the objective: they made creative activities in Spanish language. The result is a joyful workshop and furthermore with the special challenge because they also have to work in a team with a partner of another college. </li></ul><ul><li>Evaluation: At the end of the of the project the students have to write themselves a story using the past forms. </li></ul><ul><li>National Educational Technology Standards for Students (NETS): </li></ul><ul><li>Spanish curriculum context : this project includes written and text comprehension facilities. Furthermore they practice the exchange of opinion (by MSN and email) and make a practical grammar transfer using the past forms. </li></ul><ul><li>ICT curriculum context : creating and publishing of own texts, application of Window Live Tools, application of online dictionaries. </li></ul>
