1. Minutes of the meeting in Adana
- On the first day, each partner made a presentation of the town, school or of the vocational education
system in the respective country. The presentations are available on the project blog.Then the
participants started debating on the application form to clear various aspects.
- On the second day, the participants went on with the Results and Outcomes section in the application
form and set tasks for each partner country to fulfill by the next meeting or throughout the project. They
agreed upon the following tasks for each partner institution(s):
Turkey – as project coordinator, Yalcin will post the minutes of the meeting in the Yahoo groups and he
will be the only person authorized to send official emails. He will help implement the online platform. He
will also work along with the hosting organization in each country to establish the work plan for each
meeting, in accordance with the requirements of National Agencies.
Spain – The institution in Spain will make suggestions for the project logo and title. These elements will
be used on all official documents related to the project (press releases, participation certificates). Spain
will be responsible for the examples of good practices (implementation of career guidance quizzes in
schools) and for making the first newsletter with contributions from all partners. The next project
meeting will be held in Spain between the 25th and 30th of November 2012, the working days being the
27th and the 28th. Each participating country will prepare case studies (examples of positive and negative
experiences related to career guidance) to discuss during the meeting.
Italy – The institution in Italy will design the template to be used for dissemination. Italy will also help
design the Moodle platform and send Doodle questionnaires for each meeting in order to establish the
most convenient dates for all or most of the participants. There will have to be two working days, and
some participants suggested having them on a week day and on a weekend day. Meetings must also
include one day of cultural activities. The meeting in Italy will be held between the 19th and 22nd of
March 2013 and it will be focused on crafts.
Slovenia – The institution in Slovenia will design a template to be filled in by every partner concerning
the characteristics of the vocational education in the respective country. The partners will also prepare a
1-3 page document presenting the characteristics of career guidance in their respective countries. All
comparisons will have to be filled in by the end of January 2013. Slovenia will also be responsible for
sample tests, quizzes and other career guidance instruments. The project meeting in Slovenia will be
held between the 4th and the 8th of June 2013, and it will include a workshop for school counselors.
Poland – The institution in Poland will provide statistics and sample tests and quizzes in career guidance.
The meeting in Poland will be held between the 1st and the 5th of October 2013.
Bulgaria – The partner school in Bulgaria will be responsible for the implementation of the online
platform, along with the Romanian and Turkish partners. Due to the requirements of the Polish National
Agency concerning European projects, the learners will be 10 students. These students will attend the
2. meeting in Romania, thanks to the relatively small distance between the two countries. The meeting in
Bulgaria will be held between the 1st and the 5th of April 2014
Romania – The two schools in Romania will work together to design and implement the online platform
and the evaluation questionnaires for each meeting. Romania will also be responsible for the application
of a number of quizzes and for the design of some career plans. The meeting in Romania will be held
between the 3rd and the 7th of June 2014, and it will include an international teachers’ conference.
The final products of the project will be the first newsletter in Spain and the comparison of the
vocational education systems (in the first year), as well as the project blog (with contributions from each
partner), the Moodle platform, an e-booklet (a more detailed variant of the newsletters), 300 tests for
students and 30 career plans. Each institution will disseminate their activities on the project blog, or
with press releases and free articles on newspaper websites.
The evaluation questionnaires for the meeting in Adana are available on the project blog and they have
to be submitted by Monday, the 22 nd of October. Each meeting will have a specific folder on the blog.
No personal emails will be exchanged between the participants on the Yahoo group.
Participation certificates will bear the approved project logo and they will be signed by the director of
the hosting institution.
