Synopsis: Perodua is the second largest automobile manufacturer in Malaysia followed by Proton.

Kancil was known as Perodua Nippa in UK and Daihatsu Ceria in Indonesia. The car is
essentially a rebadged third generation Daihatsu Mira. There was three models which is Kancil
660EX-659 cc, Kancil 850EX, EZ- 874 cc and Kancil 850EZi- 874 cc. The original Kancil
underwent two minor facelifts. In 1997, car’s grille and bumpers were better integrated to
support to a larger grille and rounded indicator lights. Another slightly facelift in 2000, where the
body-coloured side mouldings, a new grille and reprofiled front bumper with larger indicators.
More new features in September 2002, rounder headlights, taillights and bumpers. Its rear license
plate was also repositioned onto its hatch from the bumper below. The production of Kancil stop
on 20 July 2009 as it is replaced by Perodua Viva.

Perodua Rusa is consider as a microvan. It was launched on 6th March 1996, with 1.3 litre engine
and 1.6 litre range of 14th May 1997. Rusa is the first van that produced by Malaysia automotive
company. There are three types of Rusa vans, The CX (1.3litre, two seat version), The EX (1.3
Litre, five seat version), The GX (1.6 Litre, seven seat version). The logo of Perodua was first a
galloping deer as Rusa is Malay translation of Deer and now replaced by Perodua Logo.

Perodua Kembara also call as Daihatsu Terios is a mini SUV, it was first released in 1997 by
Japanese car manufacturer Daihatsu. The engines are a modified Daihatsu Charade 1.3 litre or
kei car 660 cc unit, with a constant four wheel drive or two wheel drive. The first generation was
available as a five-door estate and the smaller kei car model called the Terios Kid, which was
only released in Japan. Model codes for first generation were J100, J102 and J122. The first-
generation Daihatsu Terios is also known as Toyota Cami. In Malaysia, the car is locally
assembled as the Perodua badge as Perodua Kembara.

Perodua Kenari (a Malaysian name for canary) is a small four-seat compact car or supermini car
produced by Perodua. The Kenari is based on the first and second generation Daihatsu Move kei
car (minicar) but is powered by a 850 cc and 1.0 cc DOHC engine. Perodua Kenari was given a
new fascia with flush headlight in 2004. However, it has been discontinued in 2009. Perodua
Kenari being divided into three different types. First is Kenari GX(manual)/EZ(automatic),
second is Kenari AERO GX/EZ and third is Kenari RS.

Perodua Kelisa was a city car manufactured by Perodua from 2001 to 2007. The car was an
unofficial successor to the Perodua Kancil but was offered by Perodua alongside the Perodua
Kancil until both models were replaced by Perodua Viva in 2007. Kelisa was released based on a
fifth generation Daihatsu Mira and is named after arowana fish which in Malay is Ikan Kelisa.
Kelisa has two types, the first one is debuted in 2001 which bear similarities to the 1999 Perodua
Kancil at the front while the second types replace the original Kelisa outright in the Perodua
lineup.

The Perodua Myvi is a B-segment car produced by Malaysian manufacturer Perodua since 2005.
Based on the Daihatsu Boon (also branded as the Daihatsu Sirion, Toyota Passo and Subaru
Justy), the Myvi is the result of Perodua's collaboration with both Toyotaand Daihatsu. The
Perodua Myvi has been the best-selling car in Malaysia for 8 consecutive years, between 2006
and 2013 respectively. The Myvi was made available in five variations: 1.0SR (five-speed
manual), 1.3SX (five-speed manual), 1.3EZ (four-speed auto), 1.3SXi (five-speed manual), and
1.3EZi "Premium" (four-speed auto). In addition, a Myvi "Special Edition" was made available,
featuring a bodykit encompassing modified bumpers, sideskirts and a spoiler. The Myvi was also
made available with dual airbags and ABS. Colors available on the Myvi include Ebony Black,
Olive Green, Glittering Silver, Ozzy Orange, Classic Gold, Mistique Red, Mocha Silver and
Pearl White. The facelift features a new colour range which consist of Medallion Grey, Ivory

Silver. The Perodua Myvi SE is available in Ivory White, Ebony Black, Glittering Silver, Pearl
White or a special Tangerine Orange exclusive only for the Myvi SE.

Perodua Viva is the city car since 10 May 2007 that was planned to replace Perodua Kancil and
Kelisa. However, Perodua decided to market it as a Kelisa replacement only and continue to sell
Kancil. Perodua Viva is based on the 7th generation Daihatsu Mira. All of Perodua Viva models
use Daihatsu DVVT engines. Only the premium version comes with dual airbag and ABS. Viva
was taken out of the production and succeeded by Perodua Axia following its launch on 15
September 2014. The Viva was initially launched with six models. They are: 660EX manual,
850EX manual, 1.0SX Standard manual, 1.0SXi Premium manual, 1.0EZ Standard automatic
and the 1.0EZi Premium automatic. The range was later updated on the 23 July 2009 with the
Viva 660BX manual (Kancil replacement model), Viva Elite manual, Viva Elite automatic, Viva
Elite EZi and Viva 1.0BZ automatic.

The Perodua Alza is a compact MPV produced by Perodua aimed at young families. It is a
second attempt in re-badging MPV after Perodua Rusa. It is a badge engineering of the Daihatsu
Boon Luminas and Toyota Passo Sette, but uses a de-tuned 1.5-litre Toyota Avanza and Daihatsu
Terios engine. The name is derived from the Spanish verb alzar, which means "to raise". The
name came from an internal competition held amongst Perodua's staff during the car's
development phase. Most Malaysians view the Alza as a "Myvi on steroids". Since its selling
price is almost identical to the Proton Exora's, contrasts between the two cars have been drawn in
the Alza's disfavor. It has been noted that the Alza lacks the advanced features of the Exora, such
as the Body Control Module (BCM) which allows automatic activation of certain car functions.
Alza was the best-selling MPV in Malaysia for 2010 by total sales of nearly 42,000 units, beating
the Proton Exora by a margin of 15,000 units. The average number of Alza sales per month is
around 2,800 units. In November 2009, Perodua launched the Alza in two variants, 1.5 Standard
and Premium, both available with manual and automatic transmission. Also, Perodua begins
taking orders for the Advanced version. Deliveries of this more luxurious model begin in March
2010. One year later, Perodua launched a limited edition version called the M2, with Advanced
version equipment and "M2" badging and a special colour called "Mignight Blue". In February
2012, Perodua launched a base model called SR, priced lower than the Standard. UV protection
is only available on the front and main windscreen and there is no rear wiper and no rear spoiler.
In terms of safety, there are no fog lamps, airbags, ABS, EBD, or BA. In January 2014, Perodua
launched a facelift on the Alza.One of the obvious changes is the headlamp cluster loses the
orange-coloured signal lamps above the projectors. At the back, the tailgate gets a black-painted
strip adjoining the glass. inside, the Advanced Version gets a multimedia system with navigation
and reverse camera functions.

The Perodua Axia is a five-door hatchback produced by Malaysian automobile
manufacturer, Perodua. It was launched on 15 September as the successor to thePerodua Viva.
The car takes over the title of being the most affordable car in Malaysia from the Perodua Viva.
The Axia is the first model to début from Perodua's all-new second factory in Rawang, Selangor.
The name ‘Axia’, which is pronounced ‘a-zee-a’ or ‘A-xia’, is derived from the word Asia. The
letter ‘x’ in ‘Axia’ also represents the number ten, as the Axia is Perodua's tenth model.

Perodua Myvi became the best sells car in Malaysia for eight consecutive years, between 2006
and 2013.

of Indonesia. As a result of this undertaking of Indonesia, the workforce of Perodua was sent to
Japan for a special training to learn more about engineering skills and assembling skills.
The competitor of Perodua domestically is Proton and Naza, whereas internationally include
Toyota, BMW, Mercedes and so on. To make sure that Perodua can compete with these
companies, they continue to make sure their best car up-to-date. Furthermore, Perodua Company
always on the watch out of product life cycle. When there is a company launches a new vehicle
model, Perodua Company will try to modify the vehicle and launch a new model. This is because
Perodua Company wants to achieve customer trends but not company trends, if follow company
trends, maybe the sales of the company will go down. Nonetheless, following the customer
