you one of the most popular
continent in our world. As you all
may know, this continent is Europe.

4. Europe is bordered by the Arctic Ocean to
the north, the Atlantic Ocean to the west,
and the Mediterranean Sea to the south.

5.  Europe covers about 10,180,000 square kilometers.
Politically, Europe is divided into about fifty
sovereign states. Europe has a total population of
about 740 million (about the 11% of world
population).

third largest in population. Europe is a wealthy
continent and is the center of the West and Western
Democracy. Europe has been the home to some of
the Earth's greatest civilizations from Ancient Greece
to the Roman Empire. It is also the home to the birth
of democracy.

biggest wars in modern history: World War I and
World War II. Recently Europe has united under the
common union called the European Union. This union
allows independent European countries to have a

Europe is Christianity. Three countries in Southeastern Europe
have Muslim majorities. Smaller religions include Indian
religions, Judaism, and some East Asian religions.

The river flows through central Russia and into
the Caspian Sea.

the highest mountain in the Alps and the

There are free universities in European countries for example

courses to choose from.
