Unit III
Unit III was about abilities of the Language, in this unit I learnt that
we as teacher must based our work on the four skills or abilities in the
classroom. We have to use the four abilities: Listening, reading, writing and
speaking, these abilities must be perfected in our students. In this unit I learn
to prepare the appropriate task according to the skill I want to work with. It
was interesting to know that some activities re not appropriate in certain
context a good example is “wh” questions. As well, I comprehended that we
should use bottom-up and top-down activities in order to get the whole
potential of our students and verify if they understood what it was taught in
the class.
In general I learnt that we should motivate our students, engage
them and all these through good activities and tasks. We should relate what
they are learning with their experiences in life. We also have to be conscious
of the level of our students so the activities and task are according with their
competencies. We should encourage learners to get strategies when
exercising the four skills so that they can perform well in test, tasks, and
activities and in real life in general.

Reflection Unit III

  • 1. Unit III Unit III was about abilities of the Language, in this unit I learnt that we as teacher must based our work on the four skills or abilities in the classroom.
