Capitalization

2. Review
In previous classes we identified, mainly, two types of
sentences:
Simple Sentence.
Subject + verb
Compound Sentence.
Simple sentence + coordinating conjunction + simple
sentence
3. Writing sentences
We can use sentences to describe things, and/or to write
opinions. For example:
The lyrics of the song “Another Brick in the Wall” express
disagreement towards the education system.
Subject verb complement
The lyrics of the song express disagreement towards
the education system
Simple Sentence
4. The lyrics of the song express disagreement towards the education system, so
Simple sentence Coordinating
Conjunction
they criticize society.
Simple sentence
Compound sentence
5. Sentences must be carefully punctuated
Always use a comma after a coordinating conjunction.
Put a period at the end of your sentence.
