Tips for implementing a class cart of iPads
    for use in the classroom at CYHS

Cart Set-Up
•   Create a separate user account

•   Download & update apps through this account

•   Sync entire cart with this account from computer

•    As apps are downloaded, push apps
    out to the entire cart

Monitoring iPads
•   For ease with hand-in/out - create a gmail
    account for each iPad.

•   Create a classroom iPad contract

•   Students in each class = specific iPad
Implementation
•   @ beginning, choose a few apps to focus on

•   Create a simple activity to familiarize students
    with use & apps (ex. scavenger hunt)

•   Establish a central location, accessible from
    the iPads, for dissemination of info.

      Edmodo or My Big Campus

•   Demonstrate short cuts & app use

•   Try activities first

•   Utilize your resources -
     student knowledge & tutorials on the Internet

•   Scaffold app use as the course progresses

•   Read reviews

     and websites

•   Look for free apps

•   Try it before pushing

Implementation • @ beginning, choose a few apps to focus on • Create a simple activity to familiarize students with use & apps (ex. scavenger hunt) • Establish a central location, accessible from the iPads, for dissemination of info.
