The ASSURE method is used to plan instruction using technology. It involves analyzing learners' current knowledge, stating the lesson objective to familiarize 8th grade social studies students with time zones through blogs and podcasts, selecting blogs and podcasts as the instructional methods and materials, utilizing the materials in the lesson, requiring student participation through discussion and questions, and evaluating student learning and engagement to revise future lessons.
1. ASSURE METHOD
A – Analyze Learners: Begin by assessing the current knowledge of the diverse
student base. Get the students involved by asking them what they know about time
zones and why we have them.

sure the links and audio work properly.
R – Require Learner Participation: Promote classroom interaction through
discuss and question sessions.
E – Evaluate and Revise: Asses students by random questioning during in class
activities and group discussions to determine what methods, media, and material
are most efficient, did the students retain the knowledge, where they motivated,
where they actively engaged in the lessons and activities.
